Overall it was pretty good, visuals are really nice, the background music is cool and the gameplay was simple yet fun. The ending was a bit too difficult for me :D
Took me forever to find the path to keep moving after the first gates because I couldn’t tell there was an opening there and had bounced off spots right next to it, so it read like a solid wall to me. I think the visual effects are cool but the ground is really noisy in spots where it matters. I actually think having more light would make the game feel more challenging in the dark sections, since right now you basically can’t see anything and know there’s no danger so you might as well just blindly bump your way out of it.
I gave up at the section that was just a bunch of red boxes in a slightly offset grid. I am absolutely terrible at any sort of projectile/trajectory based games so it was always going to be an uphill battle for me to enjoy the gameplay. I’m not sure I could get past that section without the gravity constantly pulling down, with it I actually think it is literally impossible for me. So some kind of gravity-free easy mode, and/or an accessibility mode would be cool.
It was kinda annoying to not have a full screen option as I kept clicking out of the window, but I did get used to that.
Song is bumping, great work there. Even if it’s not to my personal taste, this is a really solid and well made game. Great work :)
Thank you for playing :), sorry if it was a bit too dark for you next time I’ll have an easier/brighter mode. I I also added the itch full screen built in full screen button originally but it didn’t work so I had to remove it.
I’m glad you think it’s well made though and that you like the music.
Unfortunately I basically lost the last day of the jam due to an emergency. 😅
Visuals here were super cool! Gameplay was also pretty neat with how dark the environment was contrasted with the blue and red and green. The very last part with all those red diamonds was so hard too but after I beat it I felt like a true gamer >:) Also great music!
Awoseme aesthetics and the music fits perfectly with everything else, I enjoyed the experience, good job! ^^
The music fits the game very well. The glowing also helps nicely with giving the player a bit of anticipation of what's to come. Sadly the part with all the red blocks in a grid pattern was too frustrating for me so I wasn't able to get to the end. Nicely made game though
Nice effects! Was a little dark in there. Perhaps obstacles like walls and cubes could have an unlit shader?
The movement mechanic on it's own wouldn't be that special, but lighting (or lack thereof) really takes this game up a notch. Incredible atmosphere as you slowly navigate the darkness with a great soundtrack brings out a sense of mystery. One of the most interesting speedrun ideas that I've played so far.
Interesting movement, but I found it hard to tell where I was going with the shadows
Game play isn't interesting, you nailed the theme, the music needs volume control it gets too loud had to mute the tab. Aessthetics and the theme are on point
Banger Soundtrack, love the control scheme. Nice atmosphere. I assume not seeing obstacles well against the background was a deliberate choice. Enjoyed it a lot.
Oh man I love this game, it's so simple but really well made. The simple lightning and background really gives a serene atmosphere and you feel oddly attached to the blue ball. The controls feel fair and responsive, the blue thing that appears when you click is super satisfying. I wish there were sound effects and music because that would be awesome.
The final section feels really emotional, great storytelling !
Edit : I'm an idiot there's music I hadn't plugged in my headset
Great visuals, simple yet mesmerising. Perfectly encapsulates the theme, gameplay is simple yet very good, if not a bit tricky at times. music was also very good and made me feel a bit less bad about being entirely stuck at the section with a grid of red cubes. i feel like if the cubes were a bit more aligned, that section would have been way more doable
Really fun almost maze like game! Both are games use the same type of control. Overall really good job!
Cool game! Nice controls :D I think it would be nice if there were some pointer to the next checkpoint as I think I got lost for a bit after the third checkpoint
