Great job! The idea is very cool, the atmosphere conveys that Inscription-like feeling very well. The art and sounds fit together nicely, and everything looks very polished.

I found a way to optimize the game which is to do runs only with money cards: I start a run and only use money cards which I use to upgrade the money cards and repeat the process 2 or 3 times. Doing this, I get the necessary money to improve all the cards and win easily. Perhaps it would be necessary to nerf the money cards or put a penalty when you die to avoid doing this.

Unfortunately, I encountered a bug and couldn’t continue with my game. Here’s a screenshot of the bug in case it can help you fix it.

It seems the game shows that there are 2 enemies left to defeat, but their cards never appear and it doesn’t let me place mine on the board.

Despite everything, great work, congratulations!

What a cool idea! I’ve never seen anything like this before, I see a lot of potential in it.

I’m not sure if it’s an issue with my setup, but the performance is really poor, the dice move in slow motion and it takes a while to load each time I finish a round.

Aside from that, it’s a well-executed good idea. Congratulations!

Good job! The art style has a lot of personality and the main mechanics are fun. I would have liked to see some different enemies and maybe a bit more feedback when you hit an enemy ( a hit sound or something like that ). But considering this is a game made in a month, it’s quite polished. Congratulations! ^^

Thanks for your kind words! Honestly, after so many hours of work, I ended up a bit tired of the game. But seeing all the positive feedback we’re getting, I’m considering the idea of continuing to work on it ^^ THANKS !

I’m glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks for the feedback ^^

Simple and fun, I like the mechanic of rescuing as many people as you can to face the final part which is very difficult. And the fact that each death has its own animation is really cool !

Good job ! ^^

Yo, great job! The idea is really cool and it’s executed very well. Each level offers new challenges and the mechanics are very well developed. The downside is that there are very few levels, but it’s better to have a few well-made ones than many that don’t contribute anything.

Keep up the good work ^^

Congratulations to the whole team

The audio is very good in general (music, effects, implementation)

The game looks incredible, good models, lights, colors.

The idea is very original and fun and it is well implemented(no bugs or glitchs)

The 2D art for the manual and background looks awesome, explains the mechanics well and gives a bit of lore. It would be nice if it was implemented in the game somehow.

I've only had problems with two things:

-To change colors I have to stop moving for a moment, it's not a big problem when you only have to change one, but when you have to make combinations while dodging enemies it gets a bit annoying. Maybe a selection wheel(like the witcher 3) or something like that would be more comfortable

-Some doors are not clear to me which color to use, maybe it is a problem with my screen, I don't know

Anyway, good experience, recommended game. Keep up the good work ^^

Im not blaming anyone xD i was just kidding but maybe I didn't use the most appropriate words, my apologies.

Now that I know you've based the controls on supermario games it makes sense.

But even with that I would say that those controls made sense on old gamepads, because of the position of the buttons, but on modern gamepads it's a bit uncomfortable (at least for me) even the new supermario games have updated that.

Anyway, as I said, congratulations to the team, the game looks amazing and I like the idea. Keep up the good work ^^

Thank you very much ^^ I'm glad you liked the game <3

And thanks for the tip about the .zip files, I'll keep that in mind for future projects.

Thanks for the feedback ^^

The power bar was added literally 1 hour before uploading the game xD I thought it would clarify the exponential operation a bit but maybe I was wrong :(

About the movement of the character I don't know exactly what you mean but I had in mind to add a trail to the player which would be saved so you can see it while trying other solutions.

As for the unintentional solutions. I'm sure there are many solutions that I haven't considered, but I think that one you are talking about is made on purpose (the map with 3 pillars below and one on the right that goes over everything). I found it funny xD and I like the idea that the player thinks "I'm cheating"

I'm glad you liked how I handled the start menu and the credits ^^

The character doesn't move continuously on credits and yes... he never stops jumping even after the final screen appears xD I just didn't have time to finish it as I would like :(

I'll try to fix the problems and add new levels in the future, thanks for playing and commenting <3

Who is the psychopath that programmed jump button on B?

xDD just kidding, great job guys ^^

I love the art design <3 the game feels good on gamepad (except for that jump button on B), animations are awesome and I like the idea of mixing mariolike game and cooking game.

I hope you can finish the game so we can see its potential, good luck.

same :(
