Song’s an absolute banger, great job! Really very board game feely which I mean in the best way possible. I think the multiples of the same kind tiles were way harder than the others in a way that felt kinda annoying, but not a big deal.
Awesome work all around :)
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The multiples of the same time (especially three of the same numbers) are meant to be harder as they give you the some of the most points. You also can't ignore them for too long as they can easily clog your hand, so if you get one you need quickly to plan ahead on how to unload it.
Really fun puzzle concept!! I love how easily it is to understand and not have to overthink each round. It really lets you focus on speed and very quick identifying the combos.
Had a really fun time in my run, and that music is 🔥🔥🔥 Really great work!
PS: also seems like the leaderboard may be glitched. I was the only one on the scoreboard, and my score disappeared when I refreshed the page.
Thanks! We definitely iterated a couple times on the tile design to make it as intuitive as we could.
As for the leaderboard, unfortunately it is offline for now. The data saves to `Application.persistentDataPath` which worked fine locally but we didn't get to test it extensively on the web version.
Interesting approach to the game, loved the music, and you nailed the theme. The art style is looking good.
thank you for playing! :D
I love the concept, it's super fun to manage the numbers to make a multiplier increase, however I don't see it as a game to speedrun it. I think it's more fun to go slow and think the best move to get a higher score, but overall a very good idea and great game.
I had not understood the concept at first, but when I understood it I was able to climb very fast by multiplying. Good quick thinking game
Had a great time with the game!
I enjoyed this so much! It’s almost like a deck building game. I would love to see this concept expanded on. Great job, one of my favorites of the jam.
Thank you! We definitely had a lot of fun with it and there were so many more ideas we wanted to try.
Really solid concept. I was a little slow to learn, but I did not waver! I pressed on and beat it! Nice game and nice art all the way around!
Very nice strategic puzzle game, which is a genre that I haven't seen much in this jam! Good stuff
I sat down and played like 1 minute thinking this might not be for me..
fast forward 30 minutes later (no, seriously) and I’m absolutely addicted. At first I thought it didn’t really fit the speed run theme, but it absolutely does in my eyes. I was trying my best to beat my scores for way too long!
Very clever puzzle aspect to this with a TON of potential, if I saw this on Steam I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
Awesome job!
Glad you enjoyed it so much, thanks for playing!
Can’t stop playing!!
Damn that's a crazy highscore. I'm pretty close, might be able to do it.
I thought I was going to take a break from the game after the jam but after seeing your scores I had to go back hahaha
I really enjoyed this, but I don't think it has to be a speedrun game in the future.
I love this! It is a really good concept and it was really really fun to play. Great job!
Thanks for playing!
The gameplay for this game is amazing. Genuinely it is such an interesting puzzle game, an I really hope you do more with this concept in the future. As well, the art and sound design is also really solid.
There are a bunch of gameplay ideas we can introduce, but we'll have to wait until after the jam to see if everyone can dedicate time to it (the usual post jam problem). Thank you for your feedback!
