You’ve got me crying in the club right now. So sweet, the choice of music, the dialogue, just sappy enough to be devastating.

I watched the stream and got the story spoiled for me but just as sappy the second time through.

Man I Love Frogs

This is wonderful, thank you for making it.

I love the frogs little tush.

I’m so glad you liked it!!

We are definitely hoping to expand this, so if we do, you’ll be the first to know!

Thank you so much for your feedback

THANK YOU!!!

I knowwww, I should have figured out how to do web builds like a week ago! I will release a web build the moment the jam is over, hopefully not toooo late so people can play soup while the hype is still alive :)

That’s the second request for clarity / a tutorial so I will for sure look into that!

Thank you so much Meg, you bring so much energy to the jam, wouldn’t be half as fun without you.

SUB ONE MINUTE BABY

Loved your game :)

I love this so much! great work.

I know overcooked has been mentioned but it is similar, which is a good thing, both games are great!

The character reminds me of a Mii from Wii, super cute and bouncy. I would love to see this expanded on with new models, a more complex layout for the kitchen, maybe more stations. Solid foundation for a great game :)

Great work!

Very rollercoaster-tycoon! As other commenters said this is fantastic and it could be a great park-management game.

The buildings come together like legos when you repair them and I love that. I wish it had the lego building sound effect :)

I know you made it relaxing for the game, but if you decided to come back and make there be a way to lose, it would add more reason for strategy!

Neat! I would love to see this expanded on! I had some trouble aiming but I managed to take a few down with me before dying a bunch :).

Soup and smoothies go hand-in-hand, basically the same thing if you don’t think too hard about it.

Coming from you? The person who invented relaxation?? Get outta here ^_^

Cool! I’ll boot it back up and try again!!

I’m glad you found the gameplay intuitive!

We ran out of time before we could add a lot of feedback for the player, so I think that’s our biggest weakness right now.

Your game on the other hand has great feedback for the player! The sound effects, the particles, I mean just phenomenal.

Not quite as cool as Norm’s Face! https://rkillen.itch.io/norms-face-20

Anyone reading this check out Norm’s Face, made by this guy! Not for the Cozy Jam but fantastic none the less.

SOUP IT UP BABY!!!

Thank you so much!

I’m so glad you want a soup, that was the desired effect of our game :)

Sorry for the delay getting back to you! You’re so rad, thank you for playing our game!

I didn’t have time to give any feedback for stirring the pot, so I’m glad you liked that part especially.

I loved your game so much, I’ve never felt so attached to a spirit who ruins my garden. Maybe I should add angry spirits to Soup!

I’m at a loss for words!

You are so kind, I am so glad you played our game! The artist on our team is incredibly skilled, I am so lucky to get to work with her.

I’m taking your advice and once the Jam is over I’ll be posting the Web build for the game and future games I make!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback. Coming from someone as experienced, and who has worked on as many games as you have, it means a lot. :’)

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it :)

I’m glad I installed VR Chat for this one! Fantastic visuals and I’m looking forward to playing more of it!

I don’t have a VR headset, but i was at least able to walk around without it.

I think there was quite a bit more for me to explore, but I was unable to pick up or do much with the flowers I found and I don’t thing clicking with the headpatter did anything. Without a headset I can’t move my hands enough to interact with the flowers I think.

Still great and I’ll put it on my wishlist so when I have a VR Headset I can come back and check it out!

I was aiming for a good pre-supper game so I’m glad it worked!

Your game is wonderful and your feedback means a lot :)

What do you mean you’re at Soup??

You nailed it! Such a fun game, it took me some time to figure out that the light was burning me.

Great use of the theme, well polished and fun to play.

Keep up the great work.

Oh so relaxing! you’ve done a great job putting together this cafe, it feels alive.

A little too similar to my real job so I can’t play it for too long without being reminded of work lol.

Great work, very well done.

A little too similar to my real job so I can’t play it for too long without being reminded of work lol.

Great work, very well done.

Great work putting this all together, it looks great. I found out you can find all “three” bones by just dropping the same bone in the circles again and again 3 times.

I made it outside the map and checked out everything I could :)

Oh man this is so cool, I love your models and seeing your posts made me super excited to check this one out and it did not disappoint. Cool strategy game, maximizing my combo was fun.

Like some other commenters, those models are so cool it’s a shame not to see them up close more often.

The stirring, scooping, displaying of the soup, and the shop were all thrown together in the last few hours of the jam so I wish I had had time to give them the polish they deserved! I really appreciate the feedback

The huge pumpkins that are too large for the pot will stay forever, even if we update this one a dozen times :)

So fun! The characters are all so fun, the ingredients look great, overall so polished and well done.

Just phenomenal. I made a similar game (about making cureses instead of potions) a year ago for a different jam and this has so much that I wish I had in that one. The character interactions are fun and witty, the recipes are specific and have layers of complexity, you rocked this.

This is so cool!

I love that you unlock new things over time and that you can always rearrange things. The bunnies really pull everything together :)

I’ve worked with Unity 3d before and it was not easy, really impressive work!

The music is so nice too

I’ve made a staircase towards the sun, I’ve made flowerpots the size of mountains and sunflowers so long and so stretched that they have become unrecognizable. I’ve glitched my way out of the map and I am going to see if you can pick up the sun. 11/10

So fun!! I found out that if you move further away from the center area the scaling gets weird!

I had so much fun with this, great game.

Awesome game! We ended up with pretty similar layouts for our tiles lol, I ended up filling the whole screen with low-income housing pretty quick and just watching the number tick up was fun.

I can imagine you expanding this and adding more upgrades / structures and resources pretty easily, excited to see what you y’all come up with next! loved the sprites especially.

Edit: Forgot to mention but the exploding tiles are so neat! makes me want to get back into 3d games.

Such a complete game in such a short time! Great work, I had a lot of fun trying different combinations and seeing what worked! I had a couple times I thought I had an order made right but the customer got mad anyway! (just like real customers)

You use a lot of slang that I do not use over here so it was neat to figure out what a “fish finger” was

Oh man you two nailed it! I got nostalgia for all the flash games I played as a kid.

Sound effects were great, the dialogue was well written, the art all works so well, I love the fish so much. Great job and I hope to see more from y’all.

This is so cool! I think what you did with the sprites, having multiple stages in their growth and having them slowly scale as they grow was so cool.

Such a clever way to allow players to re-arrange the pots too! Giving depth to a 2d scene without parallax or a perspective change is neat.

So glad I got to check it out, great work :)

I knew I was forgetting something! Let me know if it works now :).

I haven’t figures out web-builds for bevy yet, I’ll try to figure it out and get one set up.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it.

This is my first time hearing about Late Night Mop, crazy how similar they ended up! Even the mop is the same shape (it's just the easiest shape for a mop).

Your feedback is always so helpful, thanks again!

I'm glad you liked it! setting up the system for rooms was probably the most intense part of the project, so I'm glad it paid off!

Sweet game/toy! I really enjoyed it. The controls are intuitive and precise and the monsters are cute!

Thank you for playing my game! I should have put a "no intentional jump scares" warning lol, I'm glad it was scary enough to make you scared! I really appreciate you playing all the games, you rock <3
