I love the otherworldly aesthetic of this game, all the mechanics work well and are pretty in depth including the inventory, the shop and the flower patting mechanic - I've found each plant required different patting angle?
Managed to max out the farm and pet so many flowers :o. The gameplay transformed from gathering, to farming, before automation took it's turn, giving enough variation.
Only problem I had is that sometimes the items collision was inconsistent when they were dropped

Wow I never knew we could go into vrchat without vr. After all the memes I've seen it was nice to get introduced to it in this way. The game is much more fun with friends :) Well done!

Very cute! Interesting choice of medium for a game jam. The controls seemed a bit tricky, but they grew on me as I started to figure things out. The assets and the choice of palette look really pleasing to the eye. You two made something really sweet!

Thank you! VRChat has been our inspiration to start making games, so it was very fitting for us. For the controls, I tried to make something simple and reusable with VR without affecting the Desktop gameplay, but I was not sure how it turned out, so thanks for the feedback on that too!!

Also, the VRChat idea of integrating VR and social interactions to games so promptly is really charming to me.

I feel that! I feel a lack in social interaction games like VRChat and Animal Crossing. I want to be able to log into a videogame world like an interactive discord chat and emote at people and do stuff together.

I played the game on desktop, so I was using KB+M. The finicky parts came from having to manage the game with just one hand, having to pull out the glove, pick it up from the ground, pet the plant, drop the glove again and store the plant in the inventory. And it got a bit more complicated with the lamp, but only for a tiny bit before I found the light lillies and could afford a farm.

Oh, I see what you mean now. Now that a think about it, throwing things around really became a big part of the game (and i wasn't exactly planning it, but I'm glad it turned out like that)

I’m glad I installed VR Chat for this one! Fantastic visuals and I’m looking forward to playing more of it!

I don’t have a VR headset, but i was at least able to walk around without it.

I think there was quite a bit more for me to explore, but I was unable to pick up or do much with the flowers I found and I don’t thing clicking with the headpatter did anything. Without a headset I can’t move my hands enough to interact with the flowers I think.

Still great and I’ll put it on my wishlist so when I have a VR Headset I can come back and check it out!

Developer

Thank you for playing! The game is a bit of a puzzle so you might have to figure things out, but I guarantee you can do all the gameplay fine on Desktop!

Cool! I’ll boot it back up and try again!!

Hey, I was thinking about it and decided to stick a walkthrough video on the game page for when the player get stuck, so you might want to check it out! (the video is uploading to youtube right now)

I can't launch the game for some reason, BUT I love the aesthetic and assets used that I can see in the screenshots! I really want to play!!

I'm glad that you liked! I loved making this kind of art~

We made our game as a VRchat world, so you have to download VRchat before to play our game,

You just need to click in the link in the description and click "launch" while VRchat is open to enter in the world
