とても日本の神社について詳しく、リスペクトが感じられるゲームです!!

面白いし、可愛いです!

It's very satisfying to see the pieces fly together to form the respective buildings. And it's nice to see the shrine fully restored. I agree with the others. The game is a little slow and having mostly building tasks available takes away from the strategy and planning. But still very impressive for only 3 days!

Agree with others that this has potential and very impressive in 3 days. It does go a little slow, as others say, and I do wish there was more of a variety of tasks to be done in the shrine (most were build tasks). It's satisfying :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! We are working on correcting these points. We want to add more cleaning/cutting tasks and we've implemented a btn to speed up the visit phases. We'll be releasing a new demo soon :)
I'd like to make a little indie game based on this concept with different levels etc, let's see how it goes!

Submitted(+1)

It's a really well done game for just a short jam! I really liked it,  it felt like a mini tycoon game.

Developer

Thanks for your review ! I'm glad you enjoyed !
We will try to publish a better version soon :D

Crazy polished game for a short game jam, I am astonished. You just need some work in giving more details to the users so that they can strategize the gameplay and maybe a fast-forward option in the users visiting moment, and you will have a game that can be published. I see a lot of potential in this game, I played only a few games from the jam but this is the best game for me. Kudos and all the best for the future.

Developer(+1)

Wow, that's really nice of you. I don't know what to say haha. We're glad you enjoyed it.
I kinda dream to become an indie game developer and honestly, seeing that other people can actually like our work really touches me.
It's so motivating. This was my first game jam and seeing the reviews from other developers makes me think I might give it a try...

Anyway, we've got lots of ideas for this game. We'll soon release a new version of our demo to get a better proof of concept, and then we will seriously think about it's future.

Thank you so much :D

Very interesting concept and very polished game for just one weekend! I liked that I had to balance the money and employees that I had. I wasn't quite sure when a shrine was completely 'fixed' but the visitors seemed to enjoy the place :) Great entry, thanks for participating in the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for you feedback ! We're glad you enjoyed our demo :D
We didn't implemented an end event for the complete shrine restoration due to time constraints but we will try to fix this soon.
It was our first game jam and we were surprised about how everyone is so nice. It's really motivating.
Thank you for organizing this event !!!

Host

Glad to hear it!!

Really interesting idea. The game environment is really nice. It would be cool to have an indication of how much till the end of the day and maybe even a button where the player could click it so the time would go faster. Overall I enjoyed to play the game. Nice work!

Submitted

Very nice game!! Love the Japanese-style environment. Mechanics are really fun too. As a suggestions for after jam improvements: it could be nice if it could be a bit faster for each round, and if there could be a way to lose the game.

Great work!

Very rollercoaster-tycoon! As other commenters said this is fantastic and it could be a great park-management game.

The buildings come together like legos when you repair them and I love that. I wish it had the lego building sound effect :)

I know you made it relaxing for the game, but if you decided to come back and make there be a way to lose, it would add more reason for strategy!

Submitted

Really cool game!! Awesome you could do this in such a short time, I hope you continue the game after voting ends.

I agree with some other comment, I wish we could skip the visitors part or at least forward a bit. It would also be cool to have more equally distributed skills, almost all of my tasks required build instead of the other two types.

Anyways really cool game! I also love the theme

Here's my last day when I was able to fix everything hehe

Submitted(+1)

Cool game! I didn't notice that the employees had a cost at first and was confused why I could only use two or three each day, but I restarted the game and read about the employee cost again and understood after that. But I think this is a really cool concept and great work for such a short time period! It reminds me of a stripped down Rollercoaster Tycoon/theme park management game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! Yes, we wanted to add a little “strategic” vibe to our game. The player has to optimize the choices of his employees if he wants to finish the level as quickly as possible and not waste money. Clearly, we need to work on making this clearer with a tutorial...
Yes, that's exactly the atmosphere we wanted to give to the player. We're glad you liked the concept.
We plan to release an improved version of our demo soon :D

The idea is great! The game in its current state is great, but I feel that it has a lot of untapped potential. One thing is I feel like the music doesn't really fit the vibes of the game very well, maybe try something more atmospheric?

Developer

Thanks, we're glad you like our concept.
You're SO right haha. We just took a royalty free music with ''Asian vibes'' to make the game more neat, it's clearly a place holder.
We will find or compose a more appropriate music :)

Thanks for your advice :D

Submitted(+1)

heyy this game has a lot of potential! the idea is really cool, my suggestion would be to add the ability to speed up the game, like 2x, 5x etc. It was getting a little bit too long watching these little guys visiting the place :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for your nice comment, we're glad you enjoyed it ! Well We have same opinion but we couldn't do in time haha
We've already added the feature to speed up the visitors part. It's gonna be available in a new version of the game we are planing to publish after the end of the votes :D

Submitted(+1)

ohh neat, i followed you to see next updates :D

Developer(+1)

Hoo thanks ! For now we plan to publish  a polished version of the demo correcting some bugs, improving some visuals and try to give a better idea of the future of our game :)
Hope you will like it haha

Submitted(+1)

All the game mechanics worked very well and the whole game loop was satisfying. I would've added maybe a constant fee so that the player is forced to optimize their choices since I didn't feel like it was that rellevant. Also I got only one or two cleaning tasks, so I was mostly looking into price and building skill. Overall a very round game, and it could turn into a nice park management game.

Developer

Wow, it's very nice of you to give such a detailed review! Thank you very much, we're glad you enjoyed it :D
Actually, we agree with you.  We would have liked to have had more varied tasks but we couldn't get everything done in time haha
After the end of the Game Jam votes, we plan to publish an update to give a better idea of what our game could be (improved visual appearance, game balance, etc.) And yes, we plan to propose more tasks, I hope you will like that.
We will take a look at your game too :D

Submitted(+1)

Had fun! Built everything and then started raking in a ton of cash haha

Developer

Haha thanks! I'm glad you had fun :D

Submitted(+1)

Very in-depth. I'm surprised someone could make this in just 3 days since I can see there is just a so much that had to go into the development. Very well done!

Developer(+1)

Hooo that's really nice of you, thanks a lot.
We've found a Japan Shrine asset pack so even if we customized the mesh models, we could focus on the dev part !
We did our maximum, 2 devs working from 8 am to midnight 3 days in a row I'm still tired lol
Seeing nice feedback really motivate us to polish this demo and consider to finish the game one day !
Thanks again we will take a look to ur game too :D

Submitted(+1)

Great game! Nice art and music. Not sure why but most jobs seem to be construction related. Love the idea and had great fun playing it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot ! You're right, with the game jam constraints it was easier to create building animations by "simply" editing mesh models compared to create a lot various tasks from 0.
I can't wait to polish the game and start to add new content to it.
I will take a look to your game too :D

Submitted(+2)

Your game is so cool. I think I can keep playing for a whole day if it has more projects to build.

Developer(+1)

Hooo thank you so much ! I'm so happy to see you enjoyed.
Well we are considering to polish the project and make it bigger so maybe one day it's gonna be possible :D
