I absolutely loved that the text boxes had cat ears 😍
Also, I think the talking sounds are done in a very clever way. By having a meow sound over and over again with different pitches and only have the last one play out in full (that's how you did it right?) gives the talking the typical Animal Crossing sound while unmistakingly sounding like a cat. The music is also incredibly fitting.
My only complaint would be that I was sometimes struggeling with finding the right angle so that a building would get recognized by the camera.
Otherwise amzing work. Incredibly cozy :3

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every part makes me want to explore, the music is well crafted, and all around a fun game to make me want MORE!!!!! Beaten 100% and I wish I could do it all again. 🍕
I loved the story and the picture taking is a very unique game mechanic. The movement felt a little weird since the charter snapped to the angles (like you would in a 2d game). It could help to smooth out that transition for changes in direction. Also no idea how I found the ghost but I did!
well done! heartwarming, everything worked very well and engaging characters. I enjoyed playing it.
Great game, visuals are really beautifull !
The global presention is great, I loved the cat sounds haha
The game assets were really really charming!! I really like how the color palette is cohesive too, added a lot to the experience
Super cute! You guys did great on the presentation, everything feels quite peaceful and refreshing, being limited to a top-down perspective and then being able to navigate the surroundings with a first-person camera felt very satisfying to play with. The little character animations, the sound effects, the funky music left a memorable impression. Also we share a game name (sort of) hehehehe
this was sooo cute! it's amazing you could get so much done in just 3 days! the picture gameplay was really fun and the whole vibe was so cute haha
Slight note if you ever try to improve/complete the game, I wish we could rotate the camera view while walking because sometimes it's a bit harder to know where you're going with all the buildings in the way
This was so cute :) loved the mechanic of just being able to run around and take pictures of everything :D even found the "interesting" thing ^^
Very nice game!
Moving around taking pictures is really fun and I loved to see the detail of the ghost (got a lot of pizza)
You guys did a great job!
This game has a really good repesentation and the art and music matches really well together. Very impressed that the game was able to fit all the content that it had within the time frame of the game jam. Especially with the camera system, which provides a really cool new perspective of the game. Really fun game to play. Well done
Super awesome job, best game I've seen thus far. Well polished, gameplay is fantastic for a story game. Well done.
This was super fun and adorable! It's awesome to see that you guys made a continuation for the winter jam (I just went back and also replayed the updated version of the winter jam, great work on the update it turned out amazing btw). I also love the photography mechanic, it's really perfect for a cozy game experience! If it's possible to have the pictures saved it would be awesome to take another look at them too especially since the camera gives a completely different perspective of the game.
Thank you so much for playing both games! I'm glad you like them! Actually, we had an idea to show some of the photos the player had taken at the end of the game, but we didn't have time to implement it. Saving photos is a cool idea too! Maybe we will implement something like this if we make a post-jam version again.
What a cool game with a neat mechanic to photgraph things!
I love the presentation. It was a lot of fun to explore the island, I managed to find and photograph the ????? as well ;)
