Unfortunately the game froze while I was collecting nectar. I really wanted to get that statue 😢
Apart from that I enjoyed playing the game much more than I would have expected 😅
Maybe it's because it kind of reminded me of early 3D MMORPGs in which you also had to explore to gather materials for crafting. Either way: Great job :)

Hey! Thanks for playing, or at least trying to. I'm really sorry to hear your game froze, I didn't hear about that happening to anyone until now. If you try the latest update that I just released ~15 minutes ago, I added a save/load system so you won't lose your progress this time. Try it out and let me know :)
Great work! This game was very engaging! Personally the start felt a bit slow, but maybe that was just my play style. I usally moved quite a bit away from the hives to collect nectar so it took me a bit to return and collect the honey. Maybe some kind of notification if the player moves further away (and isn't able to see the bees) could be helpful (maybe just some kind of auditory clue or something along those lines), or having the honey production phase a bit shorter at first and increasing the more honey is produced by the hive (oh no, are the bees getting even lazier?!?) that would also incentives the player to invest in all 5 bee hives. By the time I had bought all the hives the time between filling up nectar, collecting new nectar and collecting/selling the honey felt very well balanced (nectar replenishing as well!) all though I rarely needed all the hives at the same time (again might also be due to my play style). I also really liked the bee guy telling me bee facts :D
Impressive art! I like the honeycomb shaped islands, and the 3D bees are really cute! To be honest I didn’t play to the end because it seemed it could take a long time. It would be cool if you could click to complete the sentence to get through the dialogue faster (we were also missing that feature in the winter jam and added it later, so I totally get it). Also, I found equiping the vacuum a bit janky. But still, really good job for a 3 day game jam!
Totally addictive game. I HAD to see the fountain so I think I must sucked the whole map dry. Took half an hour but I managed to do it. Good design, I was disapointed there weren't any hats to buy in the end :P
Good job, simple artwork but the gameloop is engaging.
Thanks for playing my game! A question for you: Is the gameplay too slow, or is there not enough to do? I'm considering either adding more gameplay in the next update, or simply increasing the sell price of the honey. I too noticed the running faster 'bug', I'll patch that in the next update unless people want to use it for bee-hopping :P
I think is kinda both. Running around a considerably big map with nothing to do felt kinda boring, but I think just increasing the price of honey would make the player finish the game before he realizes how empty the map is. I think making so the beginning slightly faster would also be helpful for the game, because I would actually finish reading bee guy's dialogue pretty fast, so having to wait for him to say something was pretty annoying. But to be fair, I'm read things pretty fast so maybe it's just me.
It really made me feel like a bee. I walked out from the game with a great time, knowing a few facts about them more. I'm sorry about the bee guy though, we've all been through it.
I like the sound and the graphics but the pacing was too slow . The Bee seller dialogue takes way too long to complete and there is no way to skip it .
Thanks for playing! Those are fair critiques, I was concerned that the pacing was too slow. How would you improve the pacing? Would simply increasing the honey sell price be enough, or should there be other changes? As for Bee Guy, I'll likely either add a way to skip the dialogue or add a separate page for instructions with Bee Guy only providing 'lore'. Stay tuned!
I think this might be the funniest game of the jam. Unfortunately the progress was too slow for me to finish the game, and it got repetitive after a while. Jumping around at the speed of sound was pretty fun though, I could see someone speedrunnig this game. I also love Bee Guy, but I think he yapps a bit too much.
Thanks for trying my game! I'll be sure to try yours out too tomorrow. On the issue of progress, I was worried the game wasn't balanced as I didn't get much time to play test. Do you have any ideas or suggestions for how to improve that? I was thinking of increasing the sell price for honey to 25 (up from 15). For Bee Guy, did you find he talked too much during the intro text or did you find the 'fun facts' annoying? Again, thanks for playing! :)
