Love it! Short, creepy, really well done. Inspired by Late Night Mop, perhaps?

The changing layout was awesome, and I literally said “Cool!” out loud when the brick wall appeared. You did a great job setting up the atmosphere, and the lighting.

I got 15, and my only complaint would be the monster is a touch too fast!

Well done!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it.

This is my first time hearing about Late Night Mop, crazy how similar they ended up! Even the mop is the same shape (it's just the easiest shape for a mop).

Your feedback is always so helpful, thanks again!

Ahh that was very cool. My favorite bit was the seamless transition into the game, but overall it felt very polished.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! setting up the system for rooms was probably the most intense part of the project, so I'm glad it paid off!

Creepy feeling in this game! I included it in my compilation video series for the Godot Wild Jam #56, if you’d like to check it out. :)

Developer

Thank you for playing my game! I should have put a "no intentional jump scares" warning lol, I'm glad it was scary enough to make you scared! I really appreciate you playing all the games, you rock <3

I like the creepy vibe of your game and the art style. I really would have liked to see how the mop monster is tied in. Also I got '9' at the end. Is that my score or something else?

Developer

Yep that's your score! I was exhausted when I implemented the score screen and thought putting the number on screen by itself was funny. I had a story planned out for the monster, but I ran out of time there at the end.

I really wanted to beat this but the lighting was just so impossibly dark that I had to stop from eye strain. My monitor is pretty dark but I could barely see. I love the atmosphere and idea but sadly could not play it.

Developer(+1)

Most of the development took place at 3am in a room with the lights off, I definitely should have brightened it up! Thank you for the feedback

The atmosphere and the feeling of the game looks really good, I like it.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I really wanted the atmosphere to be solid before working on the rest of the game. If I hadn't hit a wall halfway through the week I think I could have had gameplay to match!

The de-saturated minimalist vibe with that lighting makes for a cool atmosphere.  I think a horror score (ex. musical stings when you see things) would have really punched it up.

You did a lot with very few simple assets.  Why render a whole car when you can slowly wheel in the headlights?  The switching things out when the character turns around is fun too.

Developer

Music would have been a great idea for sure. This is my first game in 3d so I didn't do too much for the models. I'm glad you mentioned the car because you're right, it's just the front half of a car, doesn't even have back wheels
