Just completed it. Wonderful game! Great example of turning mechanics into progression. It worked so well. Lovely!

Wow this is such great feedback. Thank you so much for playing! It seems like you keyed into some problems I recognized as well. Perhaps some rethinking of the frog tongue attack would help (do a ray cast before attacking to see if there is a wall between him and the player).
Im glad that grinding out weapon upgrades was something you realized you could do! Thats a great discovery.
In the next version, I've also toned down the 'hit punch' which should help with the difficulty of the frogs.
Thank you again for the critique and comments. I think every point of yours is valid! I may release this game in a fuller polished form on steam and itch for $7. I had a lot of fun with this project and I think its got the basis for something cool, it just needs a little more work haha.
Yes yes yes! Absolutely. All of this feedback is true. You hit the nail on the head completely.
There are 2 different ways to beat it (3 if you count the bucket speedrun strat haha).
An options menu would've been good I agree. I also agree with you that having a generous hitbox for the water woulve made the experience a little bit more streamlined.
Thanks for the feedback! Super useful!
