It was a nice little puzzle game even if the inventory is not very ergonomic. Story is nice, and the art got a nice style to it, I feel the sound is a bit lacking to really set an atmosphere but it's alright.

nice work !

Cute art and a very heavy ending. Loved the style of the open/end sequences especially. I was confused about the mouse interaction a bit, but also there seems to be some aliasing issue at the current resolution that's causing the 'E' prompt to show up as 'C,' not sure what's up with that.

I managed to beat this without looking at the comments, I came to read after though.  There was a part where I interacted with something and it didn't make a sound and I thought maybe I hadn't done it properly.  I said, I'm going to make a note of it, but I forgot now.  I got stuck for about a minute or two because I didn't realize you could click on the banners in the room since most of the interaction are done with the E key.  I did really enjoy this puzzle game.

Yeah, we should have made a tutorial or a better way to interact, it's true XD But I'm glad that you enjoyed our game^^

What an nice little puzzle game. I liked it. The music was lovely and art was very fitting. Props for having the page styled to match the game perfectly too! I admit that I had to rely a little on the comments here to solve some parts, I first was under the impression that I had to change the symbols in the attic and didn't realize I could click them in the downstairs. Also I didn't know what the hell I did to the inventory at one point, but I locked the inventory spaces? After that items I picked up didn't show up in the inventory and I had to restart. But regardless of that, the shadow entity appearing around the house was nice touch, I love small details like that! Also just in general, it was fun to roam around the house. Lovely game ^^ Good work!

in the attic you find 3 symbols in a specific order and downstairs you'll find those symbols too and if you click on them they change

OK I finished the game - thank you for your help :D

I love the hand drawn cutscenes and the childlike aesthetic for hte main game (kind of reminded me of early flash games).

And I think that hte main theme tune was really good.

This game style, gameplay and puzzles are awesome! I love games in this style with a heavy theme... Kinda remembers me of Fran Bow. I hope you have interest in making it a complete game, I definitely would play it. Congrats!

Developer

Thanks for the kind works. We really appreciate it

Really enjoyed the puzzles in this game and the art direction! Once I got into it, it was really interesting and the story behind it is very melancholic.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it. It means a lot

Nice game! (although I should've payed more attention to the instructions on my first playthrough). The music is a lot louder than the rest of the game, and honestly a bit too much for the cutscenes, but I enjoyed the art style used!

Interesting concept! Maybe just add a trigger warning for the theme though.

I enjoyed to play! If it's your first game it's really cool :)

would it makes more sense if the clock drops a key when you solve the puzzle?

Developer(+1)

Yeah it would have made more sense but it was 2 am in the night when i made it and my sleep deprived brain didn't think of that XD

Currently unsure how to progress. I've got two key items, but there's no new rooms to navigate.

When you get the heart shaped stick that is the pendulum for the clock. you need to put the pendulum in the main inventory slot and go near the clock to put it in
