The aesthetics was extremely well done here! I love how the game takes after Castlevania a bit with using the chain as a weapon. Hitting enemies felt really satisfying too! If I had to complain about anything though, it was a little hard to see what parts of the level were platforms sometimes. Aside from that, game felt short and sweet! Great job!
Woah!
This is definitely one of the higher quality titles I have had the pleasure of rating. The style is one of my favorites and aesthetically it works well. While the levels can be kind of annoying to restart from the very beginning, this is indeed an extremely fun game!
Overall I have nothing much bad to say! As well, you have earned a 5/5 from me on Enjoyment! Congrats, keep up the good work!
Really enjoyed this game. It has a very cool art style that was pulled off brilliantly, particularly the lighting and the screen curve. The game played very cleanly, and was a good length, particularly for a jam game. The enemies were tough enough to make the challenge satisfying. Really good job :D
This was a super stylish game! Very nice art style and use of screen effects.
I would say that it gets pretty difficult in spots, especially on the parts with the long looking enemies that can whack you. Found myself having to exploit that they can't quite reach me in order to clear them.
Really good job though, its clear a lot of passion and talent was behind this!
Very cool graphics and curved old ctr monitor effect!
That's a very nice and polished game :) I really like the retro style and how everything fits together. All the effects and post processing is amazing ;) How did you managed the dialogs (own code or asset?)
I must admit, I'm not a fan of arrow-key controls and always prefer to have the jump button on arrow-up (or W if you go for WASD). In the second level it was a little hard to tell which platform is walkable.
dialog is my own code :o also controls are remappable in options
I love the aesthetic and the music. The dither pattern on the lights, love it. Great job.
I really like the look of the green monochrome. It worked well with the slower paced side-scrolling game play. Wished the controls were left ctrl and alt like may older late 80s and 90s games.
alt gets picked up by the browser unfortunately. controls are remappable in options tho
I did not finish it because I'm not really good in reaction. But I really like the art style and 8-bit BGM! This old screen style is so coooooooooool!!!
I cannot fin how to press the start button. I am that dumb? I try to click with the mouse, space bar and enter.

By far the coolest aesthetic of this jam I've seen so far! Only complaint is that the enemy hitboxes are a little large. Other than that, aesthetic, sound design, level design, and mechanics are all really awesome!
It really feels like a finished game! Love the artwork and the dither effect :)
Great game, really amazing what you all could do in the jam period! Gameplay was fun and controlled well, loved the aesthetic choice of making it look like you are also playing on an older computer screen. Great choice too in between combat levels to have those calmer moments of talking to the other characters. Good job!
That was awesome, the aethetics and soundtrack are top notch. I will admit I spent some time on certain levels are raged a bit hahaha
Really like this, well thought out platformer using only 2 colours and having lighting, good graphics and an old TV screen bend display. I got stuck on this level but I'm going to come back to this one and try again later. Good work and fun to play.
Ha, it was very easy, more bosses were missing.
This was really great, and even though I've never played another game like it, it gave me some nostalgia for games like Montezuma's Revenge. One of the best so far. The graphics were spectacular (I love when people make old retro graphics do things old retro graphics couldn't really do, like the incredible lighting effects), and the music set the tone perfectly. I did put it down because trying to jump on a small platform with a monster was getting annoying, but that was partly due to my laptop not being strong enough to handle it and slowing down. Overall, it was really good and quite enjoyable.
