Good aesthetics, good sound design, the gameplay was a little repetitive especially after wave 5. The lighting was really good, the only thing is that the enemies seemed to get stuck very easily so at the end of every wave I had to search for the last monster that was stuck somewhere. Also I think you should be able to hold to attack, since spam clicking makes the attacks very inconsistent. Overall great game!

You're telling me this game has a great aesthetic, enjoyable gameplay, decent sound design, actual replay value, AND realistic lighting effects? Dude.
Add some more gameplay elements—maybe new enemy types, another map or two, some music, some powerups, a boss fight—and I would actually pay a few bucks for this. Seriously, excellent job.
Honestly very impressive. Fantastic presentation and very fun to play!
Really amazing aesthetics, great lighting effects. Just had three points I would improve.
The first is that this is a top down where you can move and enemies can come from all directions, but the character can only face left and right. I think the player should be able to face up and down as well.
The second is an extension of that, as I had some issues with the colliders as I wasn't entirely sure if I could hit monsters on top or below me, or how close I could get, so got hurt or didn't hit monsters when I wasn't expecting it. I think the colliders should be a bit more forgiving in that regard.
The third is I felt the mouse controls felt unnecessary. I think it would be better served with strictly keyboard controls, with a button to attack.
Overall really nice, well polished game, these are relatively small issues in the larger scope of things.
Got it to run on firefox in the end!
What a ridiculously polished and charming little game! The lighting especially is amazingly well done, just a great art style overall!
If I had any feedback to give it would be that the enemy pathfinding could be a bit shaky at times, especially around trees and lampposts. The feedback for taking damage needed to be a bit more obvious and the zombie sounds were quite low.
Very minor problems though, fantastic work overall!
Pretty well made, it was really fun. I have rated your game. Can you please play and rate my game.

Cute game! However I only manage to wave 3 for I'm not so good in reaction :( I will definitely play it for multiple times!!!
let me give you a hint: dashing makes you invincible for about 1.5 secs meaning that you can use it do dash out of dangerous situations through the zombies itself or even use it to dash into them to parallely hit them doing great aoe damage, maybe give that one a try :)
Anyhow really appreciate your feedback!
oh to yeast my eyes upon this game! What Adorable style and fun gameplay. It's unfortunate it doesn't run for me on chrome, but luckily after installing a new browser it runs fine!
Can't wait to unlock all the players :O !
I love the graphics and design of the game overall! :-)
Playing game feels smooth. Music is fine.
Found it cool that main character could change to antoher one with progress.
Great job! Thanks for sharing game with us!
BtW you could try our game too :-)
Moving through the menus felt really nice. like the sounds and feel of the game. Just felt the swing only going in one direction and enemies attacking with with no impact detracted from the combat a little but based on what I played the issue was time and not skill.
Really enjoyed.
This is probably the best-looking and best-playing game so far, but I ran into a bug that crashed not just the game, but my whole computer. After I died the first time and went back out to the title screen, hitting start brought me to a solid blue screen, which sent me back to the title screen if I clicked anything. I tried hitting "Story" again, and the game hung, then when Windows tried to close it my whole computer froze and crashed.
It's too bad, I was enjoying myself. One question... does where the mouse is pointing effect which direction you swing? I kept swinging in the wrong direction, and it was only right before I died that I thought to move my mouse to the other side of the character, but I died almost immediately. I also had a slight problem understanding that my character was taking damage... I thought I made it through the whole level without taking damage, but when I looked at my heath bar it was almost completely depleted.
I'm assuming "Energize" does something later in the game... I only just made it to the second wave and it never did anything up to that point.
Oh sorry to hear that! It's quite unusual that a WebGL game can crash the whole PC, worst case is normally just the browser... anyhow at least I am not sure what the cause might be since I didn't see or hear of that bug before.
Regarding the attack: YES you hit in the direction you look at, or at least you hit left or right depending on whichs characters side your cursor is at. And yea maybe the "got hit" animation should be more obvious so that you notice when you got hit, I thought a sound and a small flicker animation is enough, but maybe its to subtle
Yea energize is that glowing sword you can see in the images / trailer which you are able to activate when those "green arrow" thingies at the top left are full.
Nonetheless thank you very much for your positive feedback :)
What kind of sandwich would be best for haunted zombie bread? Was very fun and very polished. Simple and effective. Great Work!
