Cool game but with my slow hands  very hard. For some reason I really couldn't kick him in the d***.  I tried for like 20 minutes straight and ended up frying my brain and forgetting how to type duck.

Cool gameplay loop, always well done. Really would of like a standardised auditory cue so I could try to cheese it.

I played it with my 9 year old son. I know parenting masterclass right there. I found the underlying social commentary about internet culture interesting and he found the game play loop and editing style  awesome.

He gave you 5 stars for every category which is very fitting when you consider some of the messaging.

Cool entry very unique.

Interesting concept and liked the intro. In terms of gameplay would of been nice if the cursor was locked to the center of the screen and there was a little more ambient light.

But overall was a cool entry.

Fun game play loop that allows some cool strategy creation with the order of doing everything. The story matches the game play well and its well done. If I was to offer any suggestions I would say maybe an acceleration time with the entities to give the player a little more time to get away upon discovery or maybe a short particle effect.

The moment you discover them creates the tension and is needed however at time felt slightly unfair. Really cool entry though.

well written and very creative.

Interesting take on the theme.

Enjoyed the play through definitely brought up nostalgic shooter vibes. Had an issue where I seemed to get stuck in a doorway but a reload fixed it. There was a good balance of enemies and well thought out level design. If there was one thing I would change it would of been a clear audio cue that being attacked was on its way especially with the dogs at the start. Other than that it was a solid entry.

Appreciate you taking the time to try it out posting your time means a lot.

Well thought out level design and the they live style ghostly glasses are unique.

I like the polish of the title screen with the overall design, lights and sound. And there is a real horror vibe coming through with the mood of the game. You say a lot about the setting without giving a wall of text which was interesting. However I read everything, collected what I could from the cupboard and checked every drawer and couldn't figure out what to do.

I'm not the biggest fan of locked door, find a key to start exploring game jam entries though as I've done it so many times and generally once it frustrates me I get out  of there.

Cool entry though. Would of liked to of experienced it all.

Looking forward to hearing more. And playing dreams of joys latest build.

I like the art style especially the character design and trees. Would of liked to of understood what to do a little more though. I followed the white path and found the cave entrance which I couldn't seem to enter ended up running around a bit until I triggered the starting animation again. Interesting foundation would of liked to explore more.

Very interesting game play loop. Unique art style and some interesting characters. Can definitely see the vision.

I appreciate you not minding I use it. Your music really resonates with me.

Thanks for giving it a try it's appreciated.

Really liked the games mood and personality. I feel the main character is relatable and the story is impactful.

I very rarely play point and click adventure games however and found navigation a little tricky to get my head around. A more obvious navigation system would of helped me stay engaged as the character.

For a jam entry it's solid and I can easily seeing it being developed further.

Just had a look and got the same error through the app however the browser version worked. Thanks for letting me know bit late to solve but I'll do some research.

Cute character and I like the overhead scenery layer however I was a little lost as to what to do. I collected some stuff and the scene changed but not quite sure from there.

Really interesting with a lot of personality and thought put into it. Like the classic resident evil movement and camera system and character development.

Would of liked a little more action over text and collectibles but that's more of a personal preference and I'm rushing a little as I've still got 6 games to try.

Very solid entry which has lots polish and promise.

No worries I wouldn’t call them flaws just stepping stones, and I really think there’s something unique in the contrast between the character and background. Dropped you a follow. Ever need a play tester let me know.

Interesting world your building there we seem to share quite a bit when it comes to the world were crafting with the dystopian themes, hanging men and cameras.

I like the contrast between the characters low poly style and the pixel art backgrounds and your paralax effect is very well done. however some of the assets on the path seem a little out of place. And the jump is a little floaty.

I can really see something unique in its art direction just would like a little more of a sample of what the games main gameplay loops would be.

I can see all of the foundations of a interesting game. And I like all of the environmental narrative touches it sets a good tone however there are some features that chip away at playability a little to much.

The dialogue could really use a hold key to speed up display speed or a skip button. In the first area I moved left and right to check out the walk animation and was put back into the dialogue which was a little annoying maybe wrapping the trigger event with a bool would help.  And once I got into the room with the demon it caught me and I travelled right back to the first dialogue which was a little to far to wont to run back.

Cool entry and I can see lots of potential.

I will pop back on and have a look.

Liked your art asset and can see the appeal but would of been nice to have a reason to change the clothing some narrative perhaps.

The mood and tone of your game is well done. To walk through the world felt smooth and the sound design is really good. Also your fog effect was great. Solid entry I'm glad I tried.

Really good monster encounter good speed, scale and animation cycle and the screen jump was impactful(Another half second screen time maybe).

The opening tutorial and controls presentation are very well done.

The graphical style was a little bit to grainy for my eyes though especially around the high intensity lights near the pumpkin.  And having to find three things from the start kinda makes me sigh.

enjoyed the play through.

Really fun to play. Well paced, exciting gameplay. And the starting animation and UI monster art is quality.

I've gone back and played again and I have to say I enjoyed it more this time around. I knew the way to go and what to do and the experience felt more cohesive. I caught more of the first time the entity ran out of sight the animation is really good.

The extra dialogue is really good in the last section. Is that the end?

Just noticed your entry to scream jam 2021 Halloween night 1999. That was my first game jam and submission. I’ll be sure to check out your entry.

Just offering a further suggestion if you did make the collider closer to the building after clicking on the door a message could pop up hinting at the real life building. Would be cool especially if it used the voice acting.

Not quite sure what the ending is! once I got to the skull walled area I followed the right hand wall and came across the scare and reset. Followed the left hand wall and was scared again and figured I had came to the end. Was there more?

Point taken it was meant to be a double jump dash into the unknown kind of symbolic thing yet it fell a little flat.

From a game design point of view I really should of had some way for you to head back to the street scene become available if you headed back left or had an alternative route open up.

Thanks again for the thoughts there really helpful and appreciated.

Interesting entry I really enjoyed. It was paced well and well presented. I really liked the waking/blinking animation that played after fall into the hole, subtle but effective for immersion. Also the rain effects and voice acting was also very good. Really liked.

Some of the points that bugged me a little are the invisible wall that stopped me from entering the building on my left after entering an area. It really stood out as something to enter and the wall stopped me. The lighter when it is first turned on was very bright although I was in a dark room with a largish monitor and the jump scare sound effect was a little friendly, my son heard it said it should be scarier.

Enjoyed the playthrough.

This game although simple in graphics is also very compelling, stylistically it really works. Its well written and the background music really matches the graphics.

Solid entry.

Lots of polish and it all looks really good. I especially like the cauldron particle effects.

There is a lot of cool systems in the bit I played with the health, oxygen, inventory bar and text counter etc.. Graphically its appealing it looks really good I think it just needs more playtesting.

The first time I tried I just kind of clicked around the room and got a little frustrated. I've tried again after reading the below message and it lead me to clicking through the computer messages until given a location to head to only to not find the door and run out of oxygen.

Maybe it's me being daft however I'm really struggling to figure out what to do.

I've not rated yet and will happily give it another try if you let me now where the door is.

Really liked the presentation of the title screen and opening cutscene was very well done and I liked the overall theme of the game.

Graphically it was a little grainy for my eyes however I understand the aesthetic you was going for it's more of a personal preference thing.

From a game design perspective I would of liked the village to be more compact with some visual way of understanding the function of each building. I found I would run up peek inside and seeing it empty feel a little deflated and with the distance between each it would compound.

However those two points aside I can see the foundation of something really good, I like the dialogue and day/night cycle and flow of the game play. Certainly a solid jam entry.

Thanks for trying it out appreciated. Was going to push the platforming a little bit more But the project was more of a artistic experiment and your right time started to get the better of me. Look forward to checking out Through the Catacombs.

Enjoyed the play through every thing was smooth and well laid out. The opening story telling and camera work was really solid.

liked it all just would of liked more of the monster from the art.

It looks cool and the task system and continue function are really good However I was stacking boxes on day 2 and really couldn't see where it was going. I know warehouse work to well to enjoy simulating it.

With a more horror themed direction I can see something cool.
