Top Score 21,500 :o !!!! At the limit!
First of all the art, it's pretty cute and fun, I love the face of the planets XD
The mechanic of helping the planets pretty excited, achieve the QTE before the mothership get you it's scary. The teleport mechanic was a little weak and in a case like me, It didn't make room no matter how many teleports I do.
I would take off the player shooting to only give the players the abilities to fight using the warp mechanic for the points and a teleport more powerful with more cooldown but more distance.
Really fun to save these planets!!!
Thanks for commenting, this is such great feedback!! I'm so happy you thought the art was fun, it was certainly fun to put together :D

I saw this game yesterday on Darzington's stream and I had to check it out today. I love the character design and the animation for teleporting is really smooth. In general I think the game looks great! There certainly is a lot to unpack in terms of mechanics, but I commend you for your ambition. A super solid entry overall- awesome work!
Oh my stars! Thanks for stopping by! That's sooooo cool that you came from the stream!!!
Haha, there most definitely is a lot going on here. Hopefully in the future, we can look into simplifying it a bit mechanically, or introducing a more gradual difficulty like Darzington suggested, while still keeping the main visuals (and aliens!) xD
Glad you enjoyed!

Good game
Thanks! ^_^
-Sasha
Very cool idea, I really liked the art
Thanks, I'm so glad you liked it! :)

I had a lot of fun with this! :D
Yay yay yay!! So glad you had a good time! Thanks for playing! :D
Your game looks great too! I'll deffs check it out tonight!!
-Sasha
Cool! I hope you'll have as great time with ours as I had with yours! :D
I like the design, it's very creative, and the faces that the planets make are very funny.
Thank you!!! It was tons of fun coming up with designs for them!
-Kati
this is like the perfect game for a three day game jam!
Thank you so, so much! That means a lot!! <3
-Sasha
Really cool concept and executed well! I love the graphics and mini typing game for each planet!
Thank you so much! The planets are very happy to hear that! xD xD Glad you enjoyed :D
-Sasha
I just really like the looks of this game just quite funny, great game!
Thank you!! I definitely had a bit of fun with the designs and the planets' expressions, I'm so happy you enjoyed it :)

Great art! Weird weird mechanics, but I like them a lot. Hilarious planets
Thank you so much! Sometimes you just gotta get a little weird :P :P
Glad you enjoyed!

really nice sound I had a lot of fun with this one but I think the typing thing was a little funky and can be improved
Thanks for playing! For sure room for improvement on this one. Any specific points on it that haven't been addressed?- Josh
Cool stuff. Pretty similar to my game at the end of the day with the typing sequences haha. Nice incorporation of the upgrade mechanics too. Enjoyed it. Good job!
Thank you so much! Great minds think alike! Gotta love the typing challenges. ;-)
Glad you enjoyed!
-Sasha
Nice game. Fun too play, good sounds, nice art and challenging. Especially for me, because I'm not good at typing, and that's why I liked the option to upgrade the teleport distance so I can balance my weakness. But it led to a bug where I teleported trough the black hole at the end of the map and thus the level hasn't ended xd
Glad to hear you liked it! I wanted to spawn the entire level again if the player missed the black hole because they teleported past it. To make the upgrade a double edged sword, but not gamebreaking. But, well you know how game jams go. - Josh
i really love the concept and gameplay, the only thing i have to say is that i felt like it was a bit cramped at first. otherwise, i could totally see myself playing this nonstop for a good while. awesome job!!
Thanks so much for checking out the game!
I totally see what you mean by it feeling a little cramped. Perhaps in a future update we can look into changing some sizes around to make better use of the galaxy! er... screen space xD
So glad you enjoyed it! If you do decide to play more, feel free to share your high score that comes with the practice! Mine is around 60,000... but Josh's currently stands at a whopping 480,000! xD

Really nice game, good story writing and great art I don't have much complaints, maybe the only one I could think of is, that the gameplay could be a bit faster, also shooting mechanic looks a bit pointless, when you can just dodge the bullets
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game and the story! It was really fun to write :D :D :D
Good point about the bullets being really easy to dodge. Perhaps we can add more or make the ship move vertically in a future version! The shooting mechanism is actually for the little rocket missles though. You can use it to pop the balloons! :)

Nice one, very unique ideas! Two hand control scheme would've been nice (arrows + z x). Showing buttons I need to press as arrows instead of letters would make it much easier though! My high score: 29 350
After some levels the zooming feature bugged out, it would zoom so that I couldn't see which buttons I needed to press...
Ah true, WASD took me a bit to get used to when first making it. But, it was much easier generating strings of text instead of sprites. If I were to update this, I'd like to swap those out for sure! Sorry bout the zooming. Thanks for the feedback! - Josh
Thanks for reply. Just fyi, many fonts do have ←↑→↓ symbols in them, no sprites needed (in a pinch <>v^ also do, most fonts definitely have them) :)
Very good point! I hadn’t thought about that. Then I could’ve switched fonts and messed around with its scale instead of using the game’s primary font or trying to find arrow key sprites. - Josh
Wow, great game!! Overall, my favorite thing had to be the typing challenges. I felt like the game balance was pretty great-- it wasn't a breeze the first time around but the learning curve wasn't too steep or brutal either. Also have to say I love the music. Good job!
So glad you liked it! Fun fact, one thing that I tried to program in was a 1/100 chance of getting a word that was just the same letter, but with 10+ letters than usual. But I messed up and there's a near 1/1,000,000 ,000,000 or so actual chance, haha!- Josh
I jumped in before reading anything and the first few seconds were very surreal, I loved it haha, the art and sound are very good.
Haha, I imagine that would be quite the experience! Sudden appearance of GIANT PURPLE ALIEN SHIP with no context! xD xD Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed!
-Sasha
I like the Art style. And the game has an interesting gameplay. Really like the Planet.
This art style was pretty different from what I usually do, so it means a lot that you enjoyed it! Thanks for commenting!
-Kati
I checked your other Art that was great too. You are awesome 😊
That is so nice of you!!! Thanks a million! :D
