Ah okay good. Without any indication where to get the apworld (either link to github or upload to itch) it's hard to say if it supports AP or not. I now requalified the submission, congrats on release!

EDIT: Everything's good!

I will be disqualifying this due to lack of apworld. Once you add the apworld I will requalify i

Hi! There's some problem during generation causing it to fail: "Player Player1 had 1 more locations than items."

Fun little stealth game! The game and generation works well otherwise, but fails to generate if there are multiple slots in the multiworld.

Error: "Player Heist had 22 more locations than items."

Taking a quick peek at the apworld source, it seems that you are comparing the unfilled locations of this game to itempool of the whole multiworld, while you should compare it to the amount of items your game has produced (by, for example making a separate itempool list and adding it to the multiworld itempool at the end).

Hi! Thanks for submission. Does the game have an apworld to go with it?

I'll be using GodotAP too, but I have not yet started working on the integration. Mainly it seems to be just calling to the Archipelago singleton's functions.

Judging by how you framed the question do you need help with the apworld also? For that I suggest checking out APQuest source and also in general check resources linked in #ap-world-dev channel.

Yes, the submission page actually links to the project page, so updating the project works 👍

On the official Archipelago Discord there are Programmer's Lounge and Programmer's Den voice channels you can use (they are often vacant). Also you can use Start Game voice channel to start a new VC and rename it to be more fitting for jam discussion.

I asked AP Discord mods about it, either one is good.

I'll probably add deathlink too, let's see about the others if they fit my project

Sounds reasonable 👍

Whoa, that looks like a plan! Just remember, 3 weeks is not a long time, so you might need to think about scope on things like 6 distinct locations with unique gameplay and being "easily moddable". Or not, maybe you can pull it off. Just a friendly word of caution :D

Wow that's a nice story. I hope that the game isn't too hard for him as I've seen that the movement in this game isn't everybody's cup of tea 😅

Too bad there isn't much content in the game, iirc 4 levels only. I could go back and make some more, but then again I'm afraid of opening the project since it was my first foray to Godot and I didn't know what I was doing 🤣

Thanks! I didn't think anyone would find my games given how inactive I have been last... *checks records* ...few years. I need to get back to gamedev 😅

Nice! This game (or any of my games) isn't very good at explaining mechanics so I'm glad you could finish it. Feel free to borrow any ideas you found interesting 👍

Nice to hear that! Now, after 3 years I know that I didn't write this tut for nothing. Interesting, how did you find this?

Also if you end up finishing something I'd love to see it!

I found a workaround: first generate prompts separately, after that the results will be random with generate all prompts also.

Thanks for feedback. Is the topmost jump the problem? My wife had troubles with that too...

By the way, you can skip levels via level selection screen so no need to miss out if you're stuck ;)

Thanks, nice to hear that you liked it!

Congrats for getting #1 place in ratings, well deserved :)

Thank you for being part of this jam, whether you ended up submitting a game or simply being part of the community. It was a fun experience (my first jam hosting!) even if we didn't get too many submissions in the end. See ya around!

Thanks! I hope it's somewhat how you imagined it when you started the project 😁

Yeah the lack of end screen is really anticlimatic. I chose to add more levels with the time I had. I'll try to add one in few days. Maybe time, death and launch counters as well so that you can improve your scores. I'm glad you played it to the end, I was afraid if the difficulty was too much as I didn't get anybody to playtest it.

Thanks!

I liked how different the levels were even if more visual variation would've been welcome. Good job!

Great improvements, I liked the sweet story in this. Also now it's much clearer where the sound is coming from - altough the toys can be seen quite a far away which takes a lot of the challenge away. The puzzle at the end was good too 👍

Wow, this is hard! Couldn't finish but I feel that I got pretty far...

Thanks! The last 3 levels were quite rushed as I felt I had to include fire and ice mechanics in the game but there was only 4 hours left and the mechanics themselves hadn't been implemented yet (except for cosmetics) 😅

Sfx are very good, the game wouldn't be the same without them. I thought it was a jetplane in the ambience track, I hope your laptop didn't suffer 🤣

Thanks! I think your additions were very cool (and hot 😂), I wouldn't have come up with fire and ice effects which ended up being quite nice mechanics (altough I didn't have time to flesh out the levels too much). By the way, did you make the sounds or are they from some asset pack?

Yeah, we didn't get too much submissions on this jam... I wish I had created the jam before pass the game jam was over, maybe more ppl would have participated.

Now it's ready and published! You might be interested in checking out what I came up with :) https://axu-ap.itch.io/ballistic-beans

Thanks for making good additions to this! I made a finished version of this game.  I came up with some mechanics and level design for these added effects. Check it out if interested: https://axu-ap.itch.io/ballistic-beans

Here it is! https://axu-ap.itch.io/ballistic-beans

If you manage to finish it until the end of voting, you can still submit :)

Hi! If you worked on a game but didn't make it in time,  you can still submit! Get in contact and let's sort it out.

Yes, you can do so if you want, altough it might be good if you leave the day 3 version also available for comparison (you can have multiple downloads on one game page).  👍

Also congrats for being the first submitter! There were a few submissions already but they weren't following the rules so...

Sad to hear this. I hope things will get better! Thanks for being with us 😊
