Nice game, I think the feel of it could be improved by allowing more than one fireball at a time and also letting the fireballs travel a bit faster than the player, so you can lead corridors with them. Good fun overall, well done!

I finished a run in about 50 seconds. The core mechanic is interesting and enjoyable. I didn’t fully understand the enemies — sometimes they appeared and disappeared on their own — but it made things feel a bit mysterious. The atmosphere is intriguing, and the game has a lot of potential.

Nice simple and somewhat stressful game. 

I like the slowness of the flame as you can walk with it. Nice bit of art. Wish there was sound, that would have brought the game together I think. You can always use free sound libs like GDC https://sonniss.com/gameaudiogdc/ I've personally used sounds from here in prototyping. The enemies turning looked a little weird to me but not a big deal. 

I totally missed the beginning room torch and was frantically trying to find the final torch before being swarmed by enemies.

I liked the torch lighting mechanic, the game rewards your progress by making the room safer to be in since you can see more of your surroundings.

I kept spamming the fire button though, I wish there was an indicator that told you when the ability was charged up.

With work and TLC this can be a good game! Congrats on submitting to the jam!

yeah and the enemy spawning mechanic was very weak, the game also needs some game feel quality of life changes, anyways thanks for playing the game!
