thanks man!, ai was only used in making the cover and the starting cutscene, cuz we didn't have much time..., everything else is hand drawn!

tho we will redraw all of the ai stuff in the future!

MHM! my friend really understood the vibe and the i adore the level he made, we could've worked more on the ui to explain the objectives more, and yes the controls needs enhancing thanks for your review and im glad you liked it!

i wouldn't call it "not good at all", yes it does need a lot more "polish" (pun intended) like the ball controls and the camera and etc.., but if we could work on it more it would've been a lot better, and we did intend to make it a very short experience so the player wouldn't have to play until he can't tolerate the controls anymore, anyways, thanks for your feedback!

 anyways, yup you're actually so right, the thing that make the platforming hard is perspective and shadows, i found that shadows indicate where you actually are, but i couldn't really set them up very correctly i will try to do that in future projects, and ill also add stuff like coyote timer and other techniques there's many tutorials on how to perfect the mechanics and move set of a platformer i will spend some time on those.

thanks! it does and im learning bit by bit, 3d animation is on my radar but it's a bit too complicated and hard for me to learn at the time, but will 100% learn it in the future so wish me luck, and as of the camera rotation, i tried to make it but it was very hard for me since im very new to game development and this is my first 3d game but will 100% add it in future projects

I'm very happy you liked it, the level design is an easter egg to the first Mario game in level 1-1 when you go down the pipe and collect coins, i played your game and had fun with it and i posted a comment there, the art style of your game is very beautiful it reminds me of sovietwave aesthetics, and the gameplay is so fun too, great job!!

the art is magnificent and the soundtrack really suits the vibe, i also loved the idea and it suits the jam theme very well while also being so fun

i made a state machine for the game because i wanted to give the player unlockable skills, i wanted to make a special state for walking on ramps smoothly but we ran out of time, and as of the level design i really wanted to make it better especially that our game is a platformer but i didn't have a lot of time and i was very stressed and couldn't focus cuz i didn't really know what to do, and thanks for your kind words, honest review and good advices!
