It is hard in my opinion too. I did get halfway but got stuck. One thing that I always tell myself, If the creator thinks it is easy, player thinks it's hard. If the creator thinks it is hard, the player thinks it's impossible. The reason is that the creator knows everything that will happen. Maybe adding a little guidance or clue button could have worked

I liked it. the art was not the best for the player in my opinion, but all effects were amazing. I laughed at the blood bc I did not expect it. The fire looked nice too.
Nice concept. Maybe if you had it a little longer, it could have been one of my top 10. also, Music. You could of at least downloaded something to use. I am not a big fan of no music games.
I dont really know how to play many card games so all I did was press end turn right away. I won some how. Also, limited time in a strategy is usually a normal feature. Using that mechanic as the show of theme is not too strong. Sorry if I was a little too harsh. Good luck on the rest of the jam! If you would like, please try out my game too!
I thought it was pretty fun and the art was nice. The one issue that I had was sometimes the double jump just did not work. But other than that, pretty good!
Thanks for the reply, and for the music. I recorded it way to loud. It was turned down a lot on the gamemaker IDE. Also, for the switching rooms, I actually tried doing a little extra challenge and only used 1 room (if you dont count the start menu)
Thanks for the review! The nails on chalkboard sound was supposed to show how thr sheriff was breaking down and and anger and guilt of being too late. And just a little fun fact about that part, it was also recorded on a guitar!😊
