How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
I tried to make this game lean into chaos by making typos actually be the source of magic power. Mistakes don’t just slow you down, they fill your mana bar and let you use abilities that can help you retake the lead in a typing race. The more errors, the more unpredictable the matches become.

Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

No

Did you use the Audius API in your game?

No

Fun idea , deserve balancing but I had fun with the concept!

Very fun concept. Nice arts too!

The game runs a bit poorly for me on web build when it enters the typing gameplay, otherwise it runs ok. The effects were a nice concept, but I keep forgetting to use it since I was concentrating on the typing lol. Also there wasn't an indicator on the "space" letter, so sometimes I was confused where I was in the paragraph. I believe another common feedback in typing games is that it would be also a nice feature if the sentences had some meaning instead of strings of random words, but I understand those are "nice to have" features that might not be possible in such a short game jam time.

Overall I enjoy this game quite a bit though!

Thank you for the feedback! I think the way I was doing it in Godot was that I was placing a highlight around the letter and updating the bbcode text every frame and for some reason it wasn't working for the space in between the words due to how a was using the .join() function. Also I agree that making sentences would be better than random words so I will add that in once the jam is over!

Very difficult but cool game! I liked the idea of intentionally making mistakes to try and juggle freezing with getting through the race!

I thought I'm not that bad at typing (80-90 wpm) but after I couldn't win 5 times in a row, and only 1 time get top-5 (all other attempts - top-6), I feel very depressed. Nice job man

Its probably not you and its probably my balancing or the poor performance one web T_T. Thank you for playing!!

Wonderful idea! I wish I could've unlocked more stuff, I always got 6th and I will blame the freeze effect

Perhaps unlocking the abilities with typing instead of money? That would be a nice way to allow for "weak" players (like me) to have a chance to get the trinket they want even if they're poor

Regardless, it was a very original concept! I liked playing even if I lost x)

Congrats on the submission :)

Thank you so much! Yea that is true that I should make it rewarding to actually get some money for at least typing something. Maybe i can make like a practice "job" mode where you do typing work to get money on the side and then can buy trinkets that way. Thank you for playing!
