Description
Fortuna! is an original orchestral composition and the "title" song for the (imaginary) game, Return to Treasure Island. Return to Treasure Island is an RPG and economic sim where an adult Jim Hawkins, now the captain of his own ship, sails the Caribbean in search of fortune and glory. Pirates and treasure abound - it will be a journey to remember!

Message from the artist:
This was a ton of fun and a great twist on 'game jams'

Theme

a journey to remember.

How does it fit the theme?
The concepts of the 'game' (and thus the track) are adventure, travel, mysterious places, treasure, etc., so think these work well with 'a journey to remember.'

This has a very pirates and treasure feel to it. In other words you nailed the theme with a really good track.

Love the adult Jim Hawkins concept, totally nails the nautical setting.  Dynamic and varied, thanks for sharing!

I loved when the little bells came! It's my favourite instrument haha. Also the woodwind and percussion part is impressive :) Good job!

You paint a picture of ships and looting in the ocean with great precission. The only "critic" i would make is that i would've used longer notes in the glockenspiel instead of playing the exact melody. Great music anyway, loved the voices towards the end!

A little Klaus Badelt side which perfectly suits the description of the imaginary game and the statement of the theme imposed for the Jam. The orchestration is pleasant and the main melody very personal. You immediately think you are on board for a great adventure populated by pirates, ships and hidden treasures.
