Very challenging game! I included it in my Open Jam 2018 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I like the mood of the game and of the music. I had to use Autohotkey to make it works with my french keyboard (so remappable keys would be great). The game is way too hard for me even if I did some StepMania a long time ago. There is a lack of feedback as you press a button and nothing change on screen, it's only when there is notes that you see if you validate them or not. It makes it super hard to see if you are off rhythm or not. But it was fun to spam everything in hope to go further, good job!

I liked the black and white colors. Easy on the eyes at night when trying to repeatedly get a higher score! It is too fast for me to hit the notes.
One suggestion: The instructions can be reorded according to what the player will experience. So  "Songs can be selected with Enter." then "Song Selection can also be navigated with the arrow keys."

Almost broke my fingers trying to follow the rhythm.

Oops :P We are planning on adding some options for the users to select difficulties and/or change the parameters sent in to the AI that parses the song frequencies, but because of time limits, it got postponed until after the jam is wrapped up.

Guitar hero on impossible difficulty

Submitted(+2)

Incredibly hard, i dont think it is humanly possible to beat one song.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, we know :) We still have a lot of tweaking to do on the AI and giving the user some difficulty options for each song.

Though, players like @sidaroth manages to finish the songs with 90%+ note hits, but he's been playing Step Mania for 15 years, so he doesn't really count :P

Hehe, yeah. It is still pretty fun to try. I made some classmates play it and we were all laughting at how hard it was.

SO i guess you made an impossible game fun. Good job :)
