Neat game! I included it in my Open Jam 2018 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

You earned 3 Open Source Karma Stars!

Hey did you have a public git repo for this?  I see you used gitlab in your tools, but I don't see a link to a repo.   Want to make sure you get credit for your Open Source Karma.

Hi, no, we've left the repo private but the source code can be downloaded on the game page, it's a single lua file. And don't worry if you can't give us points for a private repo, we're fine with it, the most important to us was really just participating to this cool jam :)

One of my favorites so far. I don't think it's a problem that there's no goal/win condition. It's just neat.

Pleasing to the eyes! Lots of colors!

I think it would have been cool to see the "tail" end of the trail as I circled the different rooms.

We'll release a version with that feature once the jam is done :)

Awesome!

I liked the this tiny pixel graphics. But the game is really missing some kind of aim or problem. If its a sandbox then try to add more interactivity. Good try anyway :)

I enjoyed the graphics and collecting the animals, but my interest didn't last long. It's cute, but like any game, it needs an objective or a problem to solve. One idea for what it could be: If you couldn't cross the path of the animals, like in Snake for example, you might build a large scale labyrinth to navigate. There could be 100 (or whatever) animals to collect, and the player would have to chart a course where they wouldn't have to cross the length of their own menagerie. Then you'd have a real puzzler on your hands! Good job for the amount of time we had!

Made for an interesting experiance when I didn't read the description first.  Not much of a game, but I enjoyed my time.

I have to admit, I'm really confused by this. First I thought this is a snakelike game. Then I thought I have to gather everything. But somehow water is only gatherable in the desert? Also the buckets also seem gatherable but they are not. Some screens seem to indicate... something. E.g. in one screen there is a "wall of buckets" to the right but it doesn't do anything.

I think you just were short on time, the level seem promising, the art is fun and I just can't shake the feeling that I missed something entirely.
