The great slime plague is no more!
SPLAT! Thanks for playing! :)
I loved the concept, it's very funny although I wish the characters were more different between each others
I think the characters will have more unique abilities in the final version. Cheers!
The music isn't great, but I loved this game ! Good concept with a good execution !
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Great game man!
Thank you!
Nice game! I really like the that the tiles and slimes have physics to them, made the crumbling of the world feel very cool. I ran into some issues where coins/slimes would spawn inside tiles, either than that I really enjoyed this entry, great job!
Thank you! I've been working on the game and trying to fix this. Cheers!
coo l game
Thank you!
I really like what you've made! The game is quite fast paced and fun, even though quite frustrating sometimes when your jump gets barely clipped off the top of a 3-block tall obstacle. There doesn't seem to be much difference in the different character's stats and I literally went for the one with the funniest looking name (I'm very professional when it comes to video games). The random generation works well, and with enough different tiles to just about make gameplay diverse enough. However the added gimmicks (coins and slimes) feel unnecessary, with no incentive to get coins, and the slimes don't seem to really do anything. The physics doesn't seem to work to well in context with a platformer - the fact that you can push slimes, and jump off falling blocks, or push all the tiles around. It is a really fun game overall, and a good entry. Well done!
sorry if this was really long
Thank you! I don't know if I made it too obvious, but by killing slimes you can level up. In the updated version, I'm also adding hard mode (where slimes DO attack you), and I might add a shop where you can buy skins or something like that. I've also already fixed the jumping - I will just release it when the jam is over.
When it comes to pushing the slimes, I thought it was a funny little addition, but tell me if you think I should get rid of it.
I think it is cool, but maybe it should also damage you? Just using physics to push them feels kinda clunky, so maybe experiement with code-based knockback instead - like it jumps away and flies off for a few tiles instead
My favorite so far! The only thing was that sometimes my character would bob up and down when running so when I needed to jump, it wouldn't let me. Otherwise great game
Thank you! I've realized a lot of people have been experiencing this bug. When we're allowed to update our games again, I'll have that fixed. Cheers!
Good job mate. Love the randomly generated aspect. I would like to see more control with jumping, allowing you to jump at max height or just one block based on how long the jump key is held down. Or by pressing down, you quick descend. You might get stuck/blocked on one of the starting fence lines, occasionally random jumping (thought this was caused by "tripping" over a rock, but it happens on plain grass too).
Personally i would slow down the falling blocks(Will call it "Death Wave") for a few seconds and gradually increase it overtime matching how well the player is going. So, for example always keep the death wave at a max of 100 meters, allowing it to go to 120, but always lerp to 100. (So the player feels that they are making progress even though they are not). If player is at 60-120, make the death wave move very fast, at 40-60 meters moderately fast, 0-40 completely based on how fast the player is going. (Adjusts for slow player's, and the hardcore speed runners so everyone gets the exact same experience.)
Overall, you did very well. Good pacing, decent visuals and enjoyable gameplay.
Most of the bugs that you described, I have already fixed in the newer, updated version. I just didn't have time to put it in the game jam version. Thank you!
Game is fun and has an interesting upgrade system, but is very clunky. If nothing else it's worth checking out for the hillarious character descriptions "He was still a child when they invented rocks".
Thank you! I'll try to fix the upgrade system, I'm glad you like the character descriptions though. It took quite a while to write them out!
The concept is on point, I enjoyed a lot!
But my main concern is your game UI... Sorry, but is so ugly x.x
Anyway, with a better UI it would be a really cool game.
Good job!
Thank you! I'll try to change around the UI for the full version after the jam. I wanted to spend more time on the actual game instead of the UI... I'm terrible at making UIs though :| Cheers!
Yeah, and actually paid off... Was a really good gameplay!
great job man, i like the concept and the game is fun!
Thank you! :D
lol this is crazy and fun , i like the idea is the game generating automatically ?
Yep! The worlds are generated randomly, so that you'll never get the same game again. In the updated version for after the jam, I have added more obstacles. Thank you!
Its a very nice idea, but i would like more diversity to the gameplay!
Thank you!
Nice Idea, would enjoy if you can add more Slimes after the jam. You could change some values at the speed and jump but besides from that it is highly enjoyable
Maybe I will add "Easy Mode" and "Hard Mode" after the jam. Thank you for the suggestion!
I'll look into it! Thanks for your input.
