The procedural generation is pretty good given the time limit!
I like the overall idea that this game has.
I did notice a few things that could use some adjustments:
- I would personally increase the invincibility frames after getting hit just a bit (as getting stuck or moving into something pretty much guarantees death since it can hit you for so much at once)
- Some of the trap generation seemed to spawn above the floor on occasion, leading to pointless traps
As a whole though, this game has plenty of potential with a couple of adjustments (I like the guy's commentary as you move between levels)

Nice little game. I was really looking forward to that treasure chest… and I should have expected nothing less!
Good game, funny concept, nice job!
Thanks for the stream :) I'm glad you liked the great finale!
mini map levels is cool, and the levels with obstacles, great game.
The pallete is symplistic and really pleasant. This is enhanced by the bloom of the traps. Overall the game looks good.
The gameplay is a bit simple and little repetitive at times - I didn't feel a rise of challange. Also i never needed the jump. But it controls well enough
I also really like procedural generation aspect, becauase it feels unpolished, especially with the seams, but in a good way.
The music is just a melody and misses the depth caused by multiple notes/instruments. But the melody alone sounds nice.
The game is mainly missing audio feedback and sfx overall. The visual cues just aren't enough and don't fell wheighty.
Good game :>
Very neat! I loved the style and the music. Maybe I just missed some sound feedback? Otherwise good entry!
You're totally right. It lack of bit of feedbacks in general from my point of view. Thanks for playing :)
I really enjoy rougelike platformers, and this one was well made for a 3day jam.
Thanks Noh!
Cool game, I really like the random levels. Cool ending as well. Good job!
This is a pretty interesting game! The visuals (especially the bloom effect) give it a really interesting, almost neon feel. I'm afraid I kept getting killed, so I couldn't make it too far, but I managed to see an interesting rotation of levels and obstacles. Though I did manage to make it a few levels in after realizing that the hitboxes were pretty forgiving and it was possible to hide between spikes and such.
Is there a reason Q and D are used for movement? I really thought the game wouldn't let me move left for quite a while and figured it might be unbeatable. However, I really appreciate that arrow keys are also possible to use. Once I figured that out, the controls became a lot smoother.
Great job making it to the end of the jam!
I'm sorry it's because of my French keyboard, I forgot to switch it back to QWERTY. Thanks for playing btw :)
I really liked the obstacles and random generation. Some times there were combinations where you had to get hit, and some jumpy animations, but having a good health pool helped me not to worry too much about that.
I like that you also put in some story to the game.
As others have said, D & Q for movement was a bit odd on a qwerty keyboard.
Thank you, I wanted to add some extra life at the beginning of a new level... then forgot :) Thanks for trying the game!
The post processing and music are absolutely awesome and the ending is really cool, but some times the trap animations broke somehow and just teleported instantly to the end.
Yup some issues with the animator. I should have a look in a few days to see what happened :) Thanks by the way!
I liked the random aspect of this game a lot, as it kept me wanting to push on to the end (I’m glad I did). I did find a seed with a level that had no obstacles - which was kind of nice - and sometimes the combination of ground curve with the 3 spikes obstacle made it very difficult to get past. Overall a good entry, with an interesting look into procedural generation.
I'm glad you tried and see that end :D
The visuals are very striking and the game doesn't overstay its welcome. I liked it. The camera is a bit iffy and moves too fast which gave me a bit of a headache, but other than that pretty good!
Thanks for the comment! I have some work to learn how to manage cinemachine correctly :)
I already played some games and this was the first one that I'd actually call a "roguelike". And eventhough I did not manage to complete all levels, I think it would be possible for a more decent player than I am.
Only at one point I felt like the obstacles were to close to each other (and I died) but when I tried again, everything was alright.
And I only have some smaller things to complain: The camera's lookahead time seems to be a little high and the controls felt a little bit clunky. And the last thing: D and Q for movement? Must admit, I was confused. But that's just some habit-stuff and who am I to judge?
Well done!
Oh godammit... forgot my AZERTY keyboard, I have to fix that tonight :F BTW, you can play with arrows too!
Thanks for your constructive feedback I appreciate :) Too bad you didn't see the end!
