I love that people are still playing one of my silly jam games 🥲 Thank YOU, FermentedQuartz

Awesome puzzle game, had us scratching our heads but never too difficult to figure out. Nice job!

Took me a minute to figure out but had some fun with it in the end. I think there are some issues with presentation where you can’t really see what’s happening with the world most of the time, but the ideas are cool :)

Awesome game! I thought it was going to be super simple and then the timer started catching up to me and I started panicking xD Fix the right-side UI panel and this is a perfect little quickfire gambling game

Thanks for the feedback - unfortunately ran out of time for some of the more interesting features I had planned! Always the way with jams

(1 edit)

Thank you for your kind words :) It definitely became apparent as the jam went on that the game in its basic state isn’t very fun, but I’m glad you can see the potential of what I had in mind when I started

Thank you so much, it’s comments like this that drive me to keep making games 😊

Cool boss and attack pattern design, I had no idea how to play going into it though 😅 It took me a while to work out that I was attacking in the direction of the mouse. I had fun though, good job!

10/10 smashed the theme and made a really funny AND fun game, great job!

Ah a couple of people have been softlocked now, I should have spent more time trying to make that jump 😭 I’m glad you enjoyed the game though!

Thanks very much! I’m glad you liked it

Thank you, the sprites are actually from a Kenney asset bundle but I appreciate the comment :)

Awesome game! The movement is crisp and really helps with some of the tough platforming sections. I’m not sure if it’s intended but the game gets very hard very quickly, which is a nice challenge for someone like me who loves tough platformers but may put other people off. Anyway, very impressive work!

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you liked it :)

Ah that’s a shame, I did spend some time at that exact point trying to make that jump but obviously didn’t try hard enough 😆 Glad you enjoyed the gameplay at least

Really cool concept with amazing art!

Thank you! It’s really great to hear and I’m glad you enjoyed it

Could you do a web build? I’d love to play and rate your game

Thanks very much!

This game will be amongst the top submissions - excellent game design, art and music choice fits very well, the mechanics were all easy to learn and worked well. Great job!

You’ve done really well to create the creepy aura this game gives off - the sounds of the bunny combined with the general light level of the environment make this a lot more tense than I expected from a top-down 2d game. Great job!

Very cool idea for the game! You’ve pulled off the puzzle aspect of this very well, congrats :)

Nice game which is easy to pick up, could use a bit more juice to add to the game feel - particles, screen shake, and sounds when things explode. Enjoyable and easy to play :)

There’s good potential here - it feels really good to have a shooting match with the robbers, I’d suggest leaning into that angle if you continue with this project. I spent a lot of time waiting for something to happen and watching the customers pop in and out very quickly. I like the art and the mechanics :)

Man, I love bomberman :D Great job with this game, it definitely feels like you’ve done a lot within the week to get everything working and working well

Awesome game! The art, music and mechanics were all executed brilliantly. I loved the seamless room transitions, and the sleeping animation. My only gripe was with some of the text being hard to read due to the font. A great submission :)

I really enjoyed the hand-drawn artwork and general design of the creatures I faced. The combat itself was a bit repetitive and quite easy to exploit, but the rest of the game felt very smooth.

Thanks for your suggestions, this was my first time doing more than a minimal amount of dialogue in a game so it’s something I’m still working out the fine-tuning of. I’m glad you enjoyed the gameplay :)

This really is an amazing game given the time-frame, the presentation of all the individual parts is excellent and the polish on all of them creates a game which is fully realised.

No negatives to speak of here, well done!

Thanks very much, I appreciate all your kind and constructive comments! I think the biggest thing missing from this game is music, like you say, but it’s something I’ve learnt for future projects ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m glad to hear it! I honestly can’t believe how much traction a game I made in a week is getting

Thank you for your comment! I think I’ll definitely change the upgrade button after the Jam ends

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback :)

Really good use of the limitation to create the floating islands, and the void step is an excellent addition to the game. Good job!

Just realised I had my headphones muted 😆 ignore my comment about the sounds, they sound great

Feels very good to play and the number of different enemies keep it interesting - nice job!

The fact that the world is fully realised, with all the set decorations surrounding the playing area, is a nice touch for a game made in 3 days. The emoji combination system is as complex as anything I’ve seen so far for this jam and is very impressive. The only thing this game is missing is some sound effects. Overall a very good entry :)

Thanks very much!

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I didn’t get time to add a controls screen but I did add a list of controls to the itch page to counter this

For sure, it’s one of the features that didn’t make the cut for lack of time unfortunately
