What language are you guys gonna use for the jam? I guess the majority will be using Unity but for those who aren't.

Pico-8!!!!!!!!!!!! It uses Lua, but it seems to be quick for prototyping.

thats what I used to do as a kid, and thats a good way to start off, after this I recommend using unity (especially for larger scale projects) because scratch just dies with larger projects and its a pain to do with blocks...

It is true, scratch does not have camera movement or 3D, so I think that one day I will have to take the leap, thanks for the recommendation!

actually no, you can do anything in scratch (Excluding reading a writing files), its just like I said, it gets super laggy and convoluted. but other than that yea, you can do 3d but its very limited and would take ages making a stable, quality, and non laggy 3d game, but in unity and unreal, its just one click of a button. Good luck on your journey.
