Needed more limitations or a scoring mechanic for fewest placements.  I still enjoyed it.  Felt like cleaning up a mess.

Thank you. "Cleaning up a mess" describes the gameplay perfectly. :D

You're right, more limitations would make the gameplay more exciting. There were some interesting ideas here in the comments...

Btw.: You posted your comment twice. I deleted the duplicate. :)

Cute little relaxing game with nice music and gameplay! It needs a certain limitation or some stakes to truly make it a puzzle game. But I enjoyed it nonetheless and it was fun to see all the dots get connected and pop*

Developer

Thank you. I'm glad it has a satisfying feel to it. :)

In case of the limitations, you're right. I only managed to get the game more or less done from the technical side, but not gameplaywise.

Nicely done. This is a very cool game.

Developer

Thank you very much. :)

It was very relaxing to play, loved the sound once you got a full connection of pills. I admire you going for a puzzle game in a game jam, because it's considerably harder than making a simpler game, like a platformer, for example. Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you. :)

I created the game that came to my mind first, pretty much, and that was a puzzle game. I love that these game jams give you the chance to experiment. :)

Nice game- well executed :)

Once the board clears out it does just become a matter of connecting the dots and then forming a ‘+’. It would be cool to mitigate this by maybe having the board slowly refill, or something

Developer(+1)

Thank you. :)

A refill is a good idea. I originally planned this game to be some kind of tetris clone, which would have had a similar approach.

I also had the candy color at one time randomly chosen for the player (so no right-click). Maybe I could combine the two...

It’s a nice puzzle game

Developer

Thank you. :)

Cool puzzle, agree that once you figured out the game it becomes too easy. Yet still enjoyable, almost zen like. To add challenge and more puzzle, maybe you could have a limited amount of candies, and you can earn an extra candy every time you remove one from the board or something? I dunno, i really like the concept!

Developer

Thank you. I'm glad that the game has some fun factor, I was a bit unsure about that. :)

Limiting and earning candy is an interesting idea, because I could also reward players for clearing more candy off the board, by giving them even more candy in return.

Very interesting and unique concept! The music was also fantastic.

Developer

Thank you very much. :) I feel like music might be my strongest asset in game development. :D

Nice concept!

Developer

Thank you. 🙂

The puzzle game is intuitive but I think it lacks some difficulty as is almost impossible for the player to fail.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yeah, I really struggled with the gameplay until the end. :D
