I wondered when I would stumble upon the first clicker game for this jam. :)

Unfortunately the game has not enough eye candy for me, to entertain me long enough. ;) But otherwise good (and pretty dark) take on the genre.

Edit: Ok, I have to correct myself, I played through the game. Damn clicker games. :D

Just for the game's name it's already a 5 star concept (Sweet Shop / Sweat Shop). Very dark theme, which is cool for a sweets themed game. I'm not very into clickers, but found the concept very creative

Cool clicker game :) I really like the serious background of the game.

I would have made the upgrades more sorter, but that isnt a big issue

6% Exploitation. Do I win?

Developer(+1)

Yep, pretty good.

I AM HAPPY WITH THIS OUTCOME

Very basic concept executed well. Fun game :)

heck yeah! child labour!

Fun times :) Although my laziness meant I became a real fan of child labour by the end of it :P

Normally clicker games are really dull, but this one is definitely an exception. The ominous music and the dark theme make for a really entertaining experience. The 3D simple animations are kind of cool, too. The timer and score at the end are great for adding some replay value and competition opportunities.

Got 3:07 with 0% exploitation. Is that good? :)

Developer(+1)

That is very good.  The best I got was 4:30 while making it.  0% exploitation is the best rating.  I put the terrible names on the production ones to see who would use those buttons.  It is the kind of thing where a decision maker (business or political) can be separated from the consequences so they only pick what is best for them.  I'm glad to know that some people don't do that.

The first clicker game that I've actually liked a lot. Good work!

Great sound and feedback on candies. Not quite sure what was at the 1mil goal, but I wonder who gets all the quotas and tortures if you don't buy any children :D

Developer

The 1mil goal was just a hard ending where you are scored on time and exploitation percent.  I know many clickers are infinite, but thought it was a bad idea to do that for the game jam.

quite nice those candies are mesmerizing, good visuals.. just... every option is a button ^ ^ thats alot more than 2

Developer

The button requirement was only for physical buttons, which I only use the primary mouse button.

4:44, is that good?

Developer

Yes.  <5 minutes is good.  And the lower your exploitation the better.

love the use of child labor

love the use of child labor

Developer

I'll assume that means you love the irony and conceptual inclusion, not the practice.

Submitted(+2)

no im just a big fan of exploiting children

Clicker games are always fun! I liked the visuals as well, the blocky colors flying around were satisfying
