One of the most solid games on this game jam I've seen. The presentation and execution of the levels and sound design was especially well made. A minor issue in my opinion would be that the scoring system seems to be a bit awkward, especially as the score display is relatively large and is placed in the middle of the screen. For example, it could make more sense if the score was calculated based on number of obstacles then perhaps then it would make more sense to put the score so boldly in the middle. Also I felt the jump sound was a little too loud compared to the background music.
I join the comments of my colleagues and add that it would be good to reduce the trigger of the 'spikes' since it is necessary to be very precise jumping before it touches it, good job
Like others said, tuning the jump a bit would definitely make this game addictive. Solid submission!
I had an issue where jump stopped working after the first few doors. Couldn't get it to work even after 10 attempts. I did read the description before playing so I knew what to do.
The jump also feels very weak and slow so you probably need to tune the physics a bit too.
I really like the title image you uploaded. You could've added it to the game.(unless you made it after the jam)
If the jump was working properly, I guess the game would be pretty fun as it feels solid, more or less.
Love the name! As for the game, I had no idea how to play, kept crashing and dying. Eventually figured out the left mouse changes your eyes and space jumps. Definately give the play some time when the game starts to figure this out, perhaps a short tutorial or something.
The instructions were in the description, but I guess we didn't make it too clear, sorry! We're adding a "How to Play" screen right now. Thanks for your feedback!
I don't always read the description, I'm just too eager to play :)
This is cool, but I would have put a tutorial, or at least a countdown since the action starts as soon as you press the play button. This would work well on mobile .
There's a weird bug, the jump stops working after some time. But it is a fun game!
Fun game. One thing that was confusing is normally choosing the blocks color lets you pass through, but when you need to walk across the blocks, you need to be that color to stand on top of them. You should probably make it consistent in whether being the right color lets you go through or hit them.
