Cool little game. The graphics are not too bad. Good job! I like how you get a sword but lose the jump.

Cute characters, good game play. Had to re-fresh the tab to get from the tutorial page to starting the game, though.

The game is very unique, with a good level design and a excellent concept :3 Really well done!

I really liked the effect and screen shake when you hit something with your sword. It could definitely do with some music or sound effects though!

I like the simplistic idea and use of limitations.
The idea with either a shield or a sword being used was a nice twist, made you think about how you should play. Simple art is great, was a little suprised when the sword slashed as it's more elaborate than I expected, though it gave a feeling of power!

For me it got really hard and I couldn't finish all levels, though I had fun playing the game!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the idea! I would have liked to have more levels and a better difficulty curve, but I missed most of the first day so some of the later levels were a bit rushed.

Nice idea. I like how you have to choose to either attack or jump, would be good if this featured more often, perhaps have a few ways to complete the level and the player can choose their play style. Some form of HUD would be good to show what level you're on. I got to the bit where you had to jump down the tunnell with enemies moving left and right, this was way too hard to do with the control system and I gave up after about 20 attempts :)

Nice concept though, with a little more polish and smoother controls you've got a nice little game.

Thanks! I had to rush the last 2 levels so the design was a bit lacking.

I really love the art style and overall feel of the game. Fighting the enemies was very satisfying with the rainbow effect and camera shake! For some reason, the jump wasn't working with the sword so I couldn't get past level 1. I also like  that you applied the limitation in the game mechanics. It's a fun simple game with a good concept. Would love to play the game again with a little more polish.

did you play the tutorial,    you have to drop the sword so you can jump  you can do this by right click

Shoot my bad. I tried the game again and played the tutorial this time. I guess I totally missed it for some unknown reason. haha

This time, I got up to level 4 I think but I gave up when I couldn't get past one of the green things. It's cool how the enemies are also differentiated through colors. Also, reaching a checkpoint feels very relieving. I think the sword's position should be based on which section(left or right) the cursor is in rather than which direction the character is facing. Might just be my preference tho. No pressure.  :)

Thanks for giving it another chance! Don't worry about not getting through the last level though, I had like 30 minutes to make it and couldn't implement smart invisible barriers or pathfinding. It was supposed to be a chase sequence, where the green enemies followed you all the way to the end, but then you got the sword and could take them down.
