I love the speed of the character being how far away the cursor is, very nice work around for mouse only controls and gave more control of the character, good job! (ง •̀_•́)ง-¤]═────
I really liked how the controls felt, using the placement of your mouse in relation to your character to control their speed felt really intuititve, and gives you the option of speeding through the maze, with the risk of hitting more obstacles if you're not precise enough. Combat also felt very satisfying, with the element of timing and some nice sound effects. I also really appreciated the bloody footsteps giving you a breadcrumb trail to where you've already been. Great work!
Nice game, never used these controls before but they did really feel intuitive!
Thanks!
Honestly, the menu was the highlight for me in how it accommodated the minimal controls for both the menu and the game, and throws in the an adjustment for maze iteration. Menuhype!
Glad you liked it ! 😄
Cool atmosphere and presentation! After a while it did feel like I had seen everything and there was no reason to keep exploring. I think I would have enjoyed a bit more if it was bit shorter, or if there was a little bit less backtracking. Though I'm not sure how you could have implemented that? Maybe a minimap with some fog of war perhaps?
But in any case, like I said: the vibe was perfect. I was expecting a jump-scare at any moment 🫣
Yeah it's a bit bear bones and the backtracking is annoying even for me. I didn't even try to finish the 10 iterations 😅.
I thing I will work on this game a little more, when I'll have some free time to make it a bit more enjoyable. Anyways thanks for playing!
Cool way to implement management
