Solid concept! wish there was something that happens at the end depending on how much you collected tho

Really liked the concept and art! Wish there was a bit more control with the aiming, but was enjoyable and the limitation was integrated well :)

Everything was top-notch except for two little things. The mouse click (I would suggest a bigger hitbox to grab the items) and the lag on the game. Another thing you could add is a button to manually change the aim. One kind of aim could be just as you have it, and the other could be just like a slingshot, you pull a bit and throw with X amount of strength. Good submission. For me one of the best Jam games so far!

thank you! - I have an updated version in the downloads V4. Which improves a lot but doesn't have the alternative slingshot aiming which is something I want to implement :)

Very interesting implementation! I love the visuals and SFX. Sadly, it was very laggy for me and the clicks were kinda buggy, as others mentioned. But I can see myself playing this for a long time if the mechanics are smoother! Great job for the jam :D

The art, presentation, music, sounds, and use of limitations are all perfect! With a bit of polishing on the gameplay to make it smoother and more responsive, this would be a pretty good whole game!

Cute and fun game. I really liked the art and music. Really good concept and great implementation of the theme. The clicking items were a but buggy but other than that i loved it :p

The clicking was a bit buggy as others have mentioned, but for me it was very laggy, which made it even harder to click on items. Anyways I still got a pretty good score and had some fun :)

very cute game, and really relaxing with the music =]

really feel like it hit the mark on the limitation too -- was at the end door with a nice bit of loot waiting.... woke the dragon at the exit door, haha!

Nice work :)

The art style and the animations are amazing. I liked the mechanic. However, I  wish I had a way to tune the strength of the throw regardless of the angle. Sometimes, with large objects, the "collected" sfx. I think it might be due to compenetrating shapes.
I think it would be cool if the value of the dropped object influenced the awareness of the dragon. That way, the greedier you are, the higher the chance to wake the dragon is!

A fun concept that had an engrossing gameplay loop. I encountered some jankiness with the spawned items at times, but still wanted to try for another run.

I enjoyed the art style for this, and I definitely woke up the dragon too many times while playing haha

Very nice visuals and the music choice is on point! As other people already mentioned, I also had difficulties with the appearing arrow with smol objects but overall the gameplay loop is enjoyable and the concept is fun ^^

I really like the visuals and the concept - being a sneaky cat is really fun! And super adorable. I had some difficulty with getting the arrows to appear on certain loot items as some have mentioned, but after practicing a bit I got better at it.

Regarding the SFX, one thing I noticed was that sometimes the "collected" jingle will play even if I didn't actually collect the item, but it clipped into the backpack while on the floor. This happened only with the long items like the sword and the staff though. The $ value also increases temporarily while the item is clipped into the bag, but since it then goes back down again, it doesn't artificially inflate the player's score which is good! Although I would love extra free points because I'm not that great at the game unfortunately 😂

I think it would also be cool if each unique loot item had a different SFX when it falls on the floor - totally unnecessary but could be cool for the player!

Your game is so cute! I loved the art and I thought the concept was very creative. I liked the limitation because it really made the player have to decide if they wanted to keep risking it for more. It was a simple risk/reward scenario but still interesting and fun because of the different items and pretty design.

Really fantastic idea! I love the idea of a physics-cased sneaky thief type game. The art is great as well and you overall set a good ambience of tension while collecting loot.

Similar to everyone else I did have a lot of trouble with registering my clicks so larger hit boxes would be a good idea for the items. The player's movement speed also seemed a bit fast for trying to carefully launch objects for me. This was not helped by the fact that the game was lagging quite a bit for me but I was playing on a laptop and with the web player so that is likely on me. Otherwise, really awesome entry and with just a little more polish I think it would be a ton of fun.

Cool game! Visuals are fantastic. Enjoy the gameplay a lot. Dragon in the background is super cool!

I had a bit of trouble getting the arrow to appear on the coins. Otherwise a nice game.

Developer

sorry to hear that, if you always ensure you use the tip of the arrow and aim for the center mass of the object you will be sure to get it each time. You don't have to be super precise but that's usually the trick. I should have gone about other methods to make this easier and more forgiving to select individual items on the floor.

DUDE this looks fricking good. The idea was also pretty interesting, fits the theme well. Only suggestion i could give is maybe make the loot hitboxes slightly bigger, i felt it to be a bit too difficult sometimes to select a item to throw, tho maybe that was the whole point. Anyways, great job, real good!

very nice little game. art is cute, game play is well implemented and great use of theme/limitation!

The game has a very strong concept which is very cohesive and on theme; the core mechanic I feel requires to be more polished since its very central to the story and gameplay. I suggest the layer of the items is behind the player and only are moved to the players layer once the mouse has been detected interacting with it.
After the jam this game is a very decent addition to any portfolio.
