This game was really fun and I liked the fact that I could place the blocks mid-air while jumping to reuse it (even if it was a bug it was fun). Took me some skill but after I mastered it I speed run the game without needing any extra blocks in under two minutes.
I feel like pretty much everyone cheesed the game due to that bug. I liked the idea of mid air placement, just not the idea of jump, destroy, place. Update will have that fixed so you can place mid air but cannot destroy unless you’re grounded.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thinking I might add a timer for the levels with a “best time” value too. Already started on additional levels, moving platforms, keyed doors, etc.
The concept is really interesting and fun.
But i just completed the game with One block, you can just place and destroy the block over and over
Maybe if the block had a little cooldown that problem wouldn't happen
Overall it's a good puzzle platformer
This was really, really well done! The concept was unique and definitely fit the limitation. As the levels became more complex, I found myself using methods maybe I wasn't intended to use? Such as simultaneously jumping and destroy the boxes, and immediately emplacing them below me. I feel like there were a lot of extra boxes I was supposed to get, but just didn't using that method. Anyways, the graphics and sounds were great, but some music would've been cool! Overall great job!
Very fun game! it has such an awesome concept and i would love to see more of it,one thing tho its easy to cheese the game by juming of a platform and placing one under the ball so maybe make it that you have to be on the ground to place a platform, don't be discouraged thats just a minor problem that i wanted to poin out.
This was so cute! The puzzles were fun and I liked the sounds effects.
Very neat! I enjoyed playing this one and like a commenter below, I actually found some enjoyment out of trying to parkour the levels with only one block.
nice puzzle jnr!
at first i did not understand how to set the block (i always clicked on it in the top left corner) - but then i played the tutorial! awesome that you implemented that! :)
This game is very fun! It’s currently very exploitable since there’s no cooldown after you remove the block, so you can do every level with only one block (what i found very fun to do :D). Also i think a blocky background would be great, as i can’t exactly see where the blocks will spawn on the grid, when there’s no blocks around it
Yeah, the last level might be only solvable by exploiting that issue. Thinking of making the destroy only possible when standing. That way you can create a block in mid air but unless you're on firm ground you can't just hop up with fast mouse clicks.
And the background, you're saying make it kind of grid like, so it's easier to see where a block would be placed?
Oh, that’s way better than a cooldown, there’s less room for exploits. But this way you could do the same, but downwards, to avoid risky jumps and slow the descent. I don’t think it’s exactly a bad thing, it’s more a feature than a bug.
Yeah, on several occasions I made a mistake in the position of the block and ended up falling, on the levels with long jumps. Probably could be mitigated by placing the blocks beforehand, but if you mistake the position of only one block, you need to put all of them again…
Lol, I think we had similar ideas in mind, but you did a puzzle game and I ended up doing a platformer. Well done!
