Thanks for the bug report, will fix.

I feel like pretty much everyone cheesed the game due to that bug. I liked the idea of mid air placement, just not the idea of jump, destroy, place. Update will have that fixed so you can place mid air but cannot destroy unless you’re grounded.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thinking I might add a timer for the levels with a “best time” value too. Already started on additional levels, moving platforms, keyed doors, etc.

Fun, was a little hard to navigate with the small size. Work on some of the mechanics and could be a really cool game.

Fun concept, great graphics. def hard, felt like if i just sat in the one house and drank water and fixed the heater I’d last longer but leaving the building always ended poorly.

Love the graphics, very fun. Controls for the puzzles are good too, the tutorial is spot on.

A few things, the backpack is a different style of art, make it the same as the rest so it blends well. Also having to go to the backpack menu to know what the current inventory is kind of a pain.

Yep, already fixed and waiting till the jam is over. Opted for only allowing breaking while grounded. Seems to resolve the issue.

Nice game, think a few of us did a similar tilemap manipulation puzzle platformer. Love the graphics, could use some tweaking on the mouse controls, laptop touchpad doesn’t work well while my physical mouse didn’t have any issues.

Cool game, please keep building on it.

Cool game, good play ability with different starting plan selection

Yeah was definitely too easy to cheese. Thinking I’ll remove the ability to destroy while in the air. That way you can jump to grab an additional block and place it, but you can’t “jump, destroy, place.”

Great graphics, concept is cool. Hope you continue adding levels.

Great game concept. Could do with a little bit of cleanup on the collisions and possibly a better solution for the color navigation and mechanisms. Orange for example just kinda seemed to get out of the way eventually. But otherwise I liked it.

Followed the same theme many of us did with placing / moving ground tiles and then navigating over them. Love the art.

nice game, easy to understand mechanic. Might do a few touch ups on things like a visual to show you’re actually pulling on some elastic force but otherwise was simple to play.

The action concepts are cool, but not very apparent. Needs a tutorial or something to explain. While I like the odd graphics, wasn’t quite sure what the actions on the side were at first until I just pressed buttons and things happened.

Exactly why the PICO-8 exists. Amazing game!

3D is always hard. Got used to it quickly but I can see on more complex levels it being a problem.

Fun game. Concept is good and I could see playing it more.

Might work on the lighting as there were a few places where I couldn’t tell if I was in the right spot just due to camera. Also no way to escape the game besides Alt+Tab

Great game concept. I can totally see having multiple ring layers where you have to move in and out of the layers to flip switches to finally work your way to the middle. The complexity is endless. Make this a mobile game and I’d totally kill many hours on it. Please keep developing it.

Yeah same comment others have made. I’m thinking I’ll change the control so that you can only destroy blocks if you’re grounded. That way you could get as high as you can with the blocks you have but wouldn’t be able to “jump, destroy, create” all at once.

Great job getting a sim done in a jam. UI is great, the amount of tasks they can all do is great for so short of a dev time.

Would suggest swapping out the mouse wheel for a key as laptops don't have wheels and scrolling with two fingers is kind of dodgy.

Very fun. Definitely need a physical mouse and not the laptop touch pad to be good at this one.

Interesting concept. Had some difficulties getting the bridges to build, and the speed makes jumping need to be near perfect.
