I really liked this take on tower defense, where you grow your towers like an army that builds a good offensive strategy. However I really did not like how the player's base kept drifting away, it meant I had to keep moving my towers around, which would be extremely slow for the big ones. I understand why you did it, to keep the player from just becoming basically invincible, but I think there are better ways of doing that i.e. harder enemies after a while, or different types of enemies for different types of towers or something. But I really enjoyed playing it, good job!
Thanks for the feedback. Didnt have enough time to add new or harder enemies. Will probably add them in once my holiday starts. Thanks for playing :D
Good game I had fun with it. fits the topic very well :D
Thank you kind stranger :D
I love tower defense games, this was a beautiful change of having to move your turrets as you go. I would love to play this fleshed out. Walls to build, turrets to buy, etc. Im biased towards green and black so wonderful color choices!
Thanks. I will probably flush everything out once my school holidays starts. So maybe September :D
I enjoyed this game quite a bit! I really like the concept and the strategy that went with it, though, while it started out pretty balanced, it snowballed to the point where I felt like I couldn't lose. I had several clusters of 10-15 turrets which decimated even the largest of enemies. I got to about 16000 before quitting, mostly because I couldn't hear the music over the bullet fire, which got a little annoying. Overall, well done!
Oh wait you got to 16000, wait but how? I tested and only reached 12000 +
Nice and interesting take on the tower defence genre. Good job!
thanks for playing :D
The simple graphics and peaceful music made it an enjoyable game to play. It was easy to learn. If an enemy gets to the nexus it's pretty hard to recover, he just devoured mine and became a giant blob, pretty cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for playing. Glad you liked the music and graphics. Yeah the blobs grow a bit fast once you start losing, I plan on making it easier to comeback after the jam.
Just spent a good amount of time playing this without even thinking. It might have to do with the music but I found this game really relaxing. It also fits the theme well without being too in-your-face about it. Great game!
Yeah you don’t really realise spending time playing this. I have spent a bit too much time play testing already. Thanks for playing Glad you liked it :D
Great game, reminds me of Osmos.
Never heard of Osmos but I am glad you liked it :D
Wow, Osmos is great 2009 game that would fit this theme perfectly.
Nice game, it is pretty fun even if it is a little too easy in my opinion
Yeah it is a little too easy at the start. I didn’t code the difficulty ramp well, at the 10000 points area the difficulty spikes up a lot
Whew, that was fun! I got to 6808! I like the balancing here. You spawn in turrets by getting health, but you have to move them around so that your "base" is always safe. This is pretty nice!
Super happy you liked the concept and had fun man. :D
Your game is really fun to play, but at the beaginning it's a bit confusing so for later games, in my opinion you should make a quick tutorial. It was really fun
I see. Thanks for playing. I will add a tutorial in the future but I didn't have time for this game jam :D
I understand, for my game i didn't have time to add audio :D
