This game made for a really good puzzle platformer! The cheats were really well implemented and a lot of fun to use. However, I also had some troubles with the camera at first. I initially thought it was just a background element and couldn't figure out why I was resetting lol. Overall, I'd really like to see you expand on this idea with more levels, cheats, etc.

Developer

Thank you!

Funny little game! I liked how cheating is well integrated into the gameplay.  Maybe you need some more variety of situations to exploit this system a little further, but nice job.

Another suggestion: camera in the first level is not so evident. It took me a while to notice it, I was stuck and did not understand why level was reloading continuously XD

Developer

If you played a newer version the camera has a light.Thank you!

Nice game! Love the idea that you can change to status in the game.

I wish there was a clearer hint about the camera. I was stuck on the first level trying to figure out what was happening. ._.; (I was playing on windows v1.3)

Developer

I dont really know how could i improve the camera.Anyway im glad you liked the concept!

Finished ;p Nice gameplay, but 2 out of 3 levels I passed just changing jump strength. So would be great if other parameters have also an impact on the game. Anyway, good job :)

Developer

You could change gravity at level 1 and at level 2 you could use jump scale or gravity scale.I made it possible in more ways.Anyway thank you for the comment!!

The idea of the game and the game itself is pretty cool. The style of graphics really appealed to me. But a couple of problems have already been described below, I just want to add that it would be good if there was some area that showed in which direction the camera is looking and add this machine more on the level.

Developer(+1)

Today im adding an update! It gonna have most of the problems solved.Thank you anyway for the comment

Nice idea and pretty polished game, but only few things I would change:

  • Delay of resetting level is too long
  • On first level, player should easily know if camera is watching or not / give better player responce if he die like that
  • Game is little short
  • Destroying computer after few seconds is little bit frustrating

I really like, when I set jump force to 20 and smash my head into the roof, or set timescale to 0.1 and go SLOWMO. Good job.

Developer

Thank you!

I'm a fan of the idea of changing code to effect the world! I like the idea that setting gravity to a positive number also flips the sprite.

I agree with some of the other minor critiques of the game (default jump barely reaching areas, time to hold R to restart is a little long - but maybe I'm just impatient).

Outside of that, good job!

Developer

Thank you for these nice words!

I really liked the concept of cheating by changing code, and the feel and look of the game is great. Good Job!

Developer

Thanks!

Made it through! Really liked the game, nice graphics and execution, cool cheating mechanics. Not sure if it's an issue on windows, in the Mac version hitting/holding R wouldn't work so I had to play it carefully like a rougelike. Also the default jumping is barely enough to reach the platform on the first level, I couldn't get there in my first dozen jumps or so, thought maybe I'm doing something wrong and I have to bring over the lone crate somehow. But with another dozen attempts I got there. Maybe if you added like 10% more of default jump force it would be just enough to make it more reachable.

Just some feedback, but anyhow, very nice game! Cheers!

Developer

Thank you!You need to hold R for 10 seconds.Im glad you liked the game

I loved the feel of the cheating here! The old screen where I could mess with stats really brought back the days of messing with your save files to give you all the things.

Developer

Thank you for the comment!
I never thought about these when i first saw the old computer.|
I still remember back when gta 5 was first launched and you could mess with the game files or when gta san adreas got released and me with my friends were desperated for the cheat codes.

Game is polished and art style is also pretty cool!

next time add html version you will get more downloads and more feedback

Developer

Working on it!

I think the graphic style is pretty cool and adds a great aesthetic feel to the game!

The game is pretty polished and I like the idea of the cameras detecting you, what might be good is to show their line of sight more clearly for the player though! The only other thing is that I felt the player was just a tad too heavy, although this may be intended design because you can change the jump scaling!

Either way, great game, treat yourselves to an 11th cookie! Game on!

Thank you!

I REALLY like the way you implemented the hacking system!! as someone who spend the last weeks tweaking sliders it was easy to understand and very fun!!! The characters and enviroments were also really cute!! Only thing i had trouble with was that in the first level i kept teleporting back when i got to close to the computer, but besides that a REALLY cuty nice little game!! great job!!

Developer

You kept teleporting back because there was a camera!Anyway thanks for the nice words!

A really cool short game! I agree with the other comments that more time with the computer and a higher base jump would definitely help. I'd also reduce the time you have to hold R to restart, maybe mine was bugged but it felt like 10 seconds or something. I'd change that to 1-2 secs.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the comment! We gonna chnage those.

Good concept i liked to see what changing different variables would do.

Most of the jumps were really tedious and made it really difficult to play, i thing at least reaching the main event of the game (The computer) should be easier, cause i wanted to play your concept and not just a platformer :P

Developer

Im glad you liked the concept! The platformer wasnt that hard compared with what i did for the first time :)

this is a pretty cool game, interesting concept, the gameplay was nice and i liked the puzzles. personally, i wish that the puzzles could've been a little more complicated, using more cameras and other elements, but the game is good, and the only thing i was sad about was the three levels and the anticlimactic ending, i was really enjoying the game by the third level and once i finished it i didn't expect to go straight to the menu screen. i get this is a game jam though, and i know the struggles, so overall i enjoyed it, do hope you guys decide to work on this a little more after the game jam however

Developer

I know the game looks like its not ended but half of this week i went to a vacation and i didnt had a lot of time.Thank you anyway for the reply!

Good game, i had fun, but the jumping was a bit clunky and hard to control, other then that i had fun.

Developer

Thank you very much for the comment!

fun game! the concept was really fun and the camera definitely added pressure to the movement and gameplay. I think if you were to add a little more readability to some of what's happening, so perhaps adding a visible view to the camera so you can see when you're going to get hit, or show why the computer can break sometimes so it doesn't seem random, it would make the game feel fairer and more fun.

But overall, really nice graphics and I found the concept quite interesting too!
