Awesome work! I love the movement, it feels like I'm in control and completely out of control at the same time. The levels are designed to accommodate the unconventional movement really well.

Thank you so much for playing and leaving such awesome feedback! My intention was for the enemies to be an obstacle but not necessarily a constant annoyance, I think I may tweak the sleep tune to act as a more long-term solution to them. As for the checkmarks in the dark world, I think that may be an issue with the size of the colliders I use to detect a correct placement so I'll fix that for sure!

Thank you for playing! Was there anything specifically about the mechanics that made them feel non-functional? I tried to make sure that everything had a use but I'd love to hear your feedback!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you so much for playing and leaving such great feedback! More modes are definitely something I'll look into and were part of the game's scope initially but I had to cut them due to time. I agree that the controls absolutely need some tweaking and I'm totally going to revamp them entirely in the near future. As for the missing keys, I guess WebGL just doesn't like the arrow symbols I used since they don't show up on the main screen as they do in the screenshots either.

I love the art style and presentation! I thought it controlled not bad but I would like it to be a little clearer where you could/couldn't jump as I found myself falling through things I thought were solid platforms.

Thank you very much for giving it a try!

Thank you for playing! I definitely made the game with challenging the player in mind, so it does take some time to get comfortable with the controls. Any suggestions for flattening the learning curve a little?

This game made for a really good puzzle platformer! The cheats were really well implemented and a lot of fun to use. However, I also had some troubles with the camera at first. I initially thought it was just a background element and couldn't figure out why I was resetting lol. Overall, I'd really like to see you expand on this idea with more levels, cheats, etc.

A bit of a learning curve to this one but once I got a hang of it it was loads of fun! The music also fits the aesthetic really well. Great job!

Yeah, I discovered the noclip yeet glitch when I was playtesting but I had no idea how to fix it without rewriting the entire way noclip works and I just didn't have time to do that. I also would have absolutely added customizable controls if I had the time but I didn't really think of it  until later and at that point I didn't have enough time to implement them. Sorry it was a problem for you :(

Thank you! :)

My intention was to have sfx and music for sure but unfortunately I had to cut them for time. I'm definitely gonna add them in once I get a chance though! Thanks so much for playing!

Thanks so much for playing al leaving feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! ( ´ ▽ ` )

Yeah, the noclip is the one I most consistently had to go back and tweak. If I had more time I totally would have added a timer or something to make it a little more intuitive so there's no falling through the world forever or getting stuck in walls. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm definitely going to do that, thanks for the suggestion!

The text was put in at pretty much the last possible second so I completely agree that there's changes to be made with it. I really wish I had enough time to make the game more intuitive and polish it up but I'm gonna keep working on it for sure. Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it :)

Yeah, I knew this was a problem the game had when I uploaded it. I just simply didn't have the time to put that extra layer of polish on and make the cheats feel as intuitive as possible. I really wanted to have some screen shake/effects to display taking/dealing damage but again, just not enough time :( Thanks so much for playing a leaving feedback!

The art style is really great! I loved how much this reminds me of Papa's Burgeria. The cheat system is really well implemented and incorporates the limitation in a really smart way. I think the only thing this game needs is a soundtrack/sound effects to be a really solid game. Great work!

This game is really awesome. I love the implementation of the secondary deck that you can use to cheat and get a leg up on your opponent. The base game is already lots of fun on its own but the secret deck is a really interesting idea that adds an extra element of strategy. It's sooo satisfying when the cards line up perfectly and you can win in a single turn :D

I really enjoyed my time with this game! I haven't played a lot of tower defence games but I thought this was a really cool twist on the usual format. The use of the limitation was pretty lacklustre and I also got to a point where I was just sitting behind my minion towers and collecting souls but other than that it's a really solid jam game. I also very much approve of your choice of cookie :)

Really really fun! It's pretty hard to grab onto the ball while it's travelling, but it wasn't so bad once I got accustomed to it.

This game is a lot of fun! I sunk a lot of time into just getting as many cheats as possible and absolutely obliterating asteroids lol. That being said, I think the cheat system should be a little more intuitive. I had to come here and read the comments to figure out how to get them to work. Really great overall though, struck a great balance between the arcade-style asteroid shooting and the micromanagement of scientists.

So I may or may not have fallen asleep at my desk and missed the submission deadline. Hopefully I'm not too late :) https://insanepig.itch.io/qef
