Really good concept. Great art style. Personally, I found the introduction screen a bit head-aching, but maybe it's just me. Also, you should reduce the length of the console instructions, a bit too long to type.

Otherwise, pretty solid and polished game. Nice job!

Thank you

I love the concept and the art style! I agree with the other comments, maybe you could add something like in the bash of linux, that when you press up key, the last command is copied.

Even so, a really cool game!

Developer

Yup. That's great Idea :P

The art and sfx are masterpieces. Although, maybe its just me but I'd consider sticking to either all caps or all under case for the commands. Nice job either way!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! As far I checked, you can write lower, upper, and even mixed cases and commands it will work the same way. There's a chance that the font used in-game can be. a little confusing in that matter

Oh lol, it must just have been me then.

This is really cool, but typing things is too long. Maybe just "walk" or "hover" would be enough. And just want to tell that glowing is too much for me, my eyes hurt.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I agree that brightens can cause discomfort on some monitor settings. As @Smietanek said we planned to simplify terminal options, but we ran out of time. Thanks for the review!

Nice concept! But I agree with CleverYeti, typing the commands was a bit long. Maybe learning keystroke patterns from the floppydisks instead, like HHH to hover, GGG to walk on ground. Beautiful sprite art and glow!

Developer

Thank you for the nice comment! We were planing to simplify writing commends to terminal, but we were defeated by the worst enemy on Game Jams - TIME :/

I like this a lot! The terminal being used to change game behavior to solve the puzzles is great, and the time pressure was expected, but a perfect way to scale the difficulty.

Also, every aspect of the art (sprites, sound, music, etc) for the game fits perfectly together. Great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! Glad you like it :D

The art style looks really good and the game is fun, but typing the commands can get a bit long.

Developer(+1)

That's right. If we would be working on sth with this game, it's going to be "previous command" shortcut and autocomplete because it won't change gameplay much and make it more smooth :) Thanks for review.

Great fun game, bringing a bit of time pressure and interesting gameplay mechanics to a puzzle game. I did a full playthrough and really enjoyed it. Good game.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words, really appreciated for the whole playthrough :D
