It took a while to figure out how the upgrade system worked, but it was fun to hunt down all the walls I'd missed. When I thought I was out of walls and upgrades, finally I unlocked the OPEN verb! I liked the limited palette and the hands-on research theme :)

Really neat, kinda relaxing too! The soundtrack kinda reminded me a bit about Yoshi's Island, while the game style kinda reminded me a bit about Proteus. It took a bit to "get" how the game worked, but once I got it, I had a really nice experience playing it! :) Good job there, specially by using TIC-80! :O
I maxed out as many levels as I could. I will say I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing or why but still felt compelled to continue. I never figured out how to open doors though. It told me I learned the verb 'OPEN' but I only ever seemed to be able to inspect doors. Interesting and unique idea.
This looks really cool, but how does one run .tic files? I'm on a Mac.
* download TIC-80 from https://tic.computer/create
* type folder in the TIC console
* copy lowrez17.tic to the folder that opens
* in the TIC console, type load lowrez17.tic
* type run
Additionally, if you were to create a standalone Mac build with the command export native, I would gladly upload it! I have no way of doing this myself.
