Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

That was a neat idea, but it was really hard to play on a laptop.

Was that vignette on the 64x64 grid? It looked surprisingly smooth.

The pathfinding was fine, although the character got a little bit jerky when I mashed the left mouse button. At first, I intended to use the special to mark my passage, but flaming trees were too much fun so I burned most of them in the end... I really liked how thanks to the broken bridge, you can basically go back to the castle in one click, it felt like a railshooter. I enjoyed it!

I had trouble moving my character. I think that you can improve your game control by allowing the character to follow the mouse cursor when the player hold LMB.

And your game need more feedback (when you hit something or when you get hurt, for example).

Except that, this is a nice minimalist game you have :).

Fun! I really liked the simplified control scheme. Made is nice and easy to play. Looks like you got pathfinding working well, and I too enjoyed setting the trees on fire :)

Nice start! The shadow seems to be a bit too limiting (the resolution is quite limiting as it is) and shooting in certain directions was a bit problematic.

The shadow system looks awesome! Your movement seemed a little jerky and maybe too fast though. I liked the reticle corners lighting up for your charge attack, very nice, subtle design choice. Music was also great. I was rocking out, killing enemies the whole time!

The game graphics are cool (I love raycasted shadows) and I didn't quite expect it to be point and click (which I like too) but as the others said it's a bit unclear on what you're supposed to do.

Hi, the game is a bit unclear I guess, I did Ludum Dare as well so didn't have much time to polish or balance this! The basic idea is to find a key to the east of the map, this opens the temple thing to the west of the map. Go to this temple thingy and get the treasure, then you win. Very videogamey, sorry!

An interesting control scheme, although it was quite difficult to use at times when I panicked and tried to run. Still, I love the feel of this game, and shooting lasers at monsters is fun!

I don't have any very clear idea of what I'm meant to do -- just wander around and kill everything?
