Did you work in a team?
Just me. It was quite fun!
Was the resolution a challenge?
The resolution made using a good font and fitting text very difficult! It also restricted the puzzle area, but ultimately it improved the game by simplifying both dialog and level design.
What did you learn?
I wanted to test this game idea (chips+magic+capturing) with lots of gameplay content but minimal visuals (64x64). It worked well, but with a few annoying bugs that I've learned to watch out for. I also now know to find a better pixel font beforehand.

awesome game, i just love everything about this one
Insane amount of polish in all the little graphical touches, be it the chips' VFX or the beautiful hallway encounters. So much unique content too, with a clever board and set of chips for each enemy. All the music you found and implemented also added a lot to the game. I wish there was a way to restart a battle without just placing all your pieces, but otherwise the gameplay was polished to a mirror sheen.
I really like the game! A great idea. Very polish. And one of the best graphics I saw I'm the jam. Congrats!
Nice strategic board game you got there, some of the enemies are really tough, like the ice one. A really entertaining experience I will keep coming back to. Great entry!
A jam winner lunges from the dark! I beat the game 2 times and I am irresistibly drawn to the third. 20 stars are yours.
Awesome game, one of my favorites in the jam! I really liked the story elements between levels, the puzzles themselves, and the music. The soundtrack was a banger! Really nice job!
really loved it, a nice spin on one of my favorite childhood games: reversi
the only bad thing I can say is I didn’t like the font choice… and: the fire serpent. I hate the fire serpent!
This was beyond incredible, my favorite entry from the jam by far - if I could give it a thousand stars in every category I would :D BTW this was from New Game+ I loved it so much :D
Really fantastic gameplay idea (one of my favorites so far in fact).
I’m a big fan of the Game of Go and love this take on a liberty centric game.
I also liked that I could figure the mechanics out without going through the tutorial. Great job!
This game is awesome. The gameplay is quite fun and challenging, and the overall style fits so well. A very polished and fun game. Great job!
