Did you work in a team?
2 members, an artist/programmer and a musician/programmer

Was the resolution a challenge?
fitting elements on the screen was a challenge, we had to try and find clever ways to lay out rooms to combat that.

What did you learn?
we only used about a week of the given time, we tried to improve our planning to face our shortened deadline

Wow, you guys made how many puzzles in a week? One of the best of the jam I've seen. Alot of the puzzles were quite straightforward and some were solved accidentally or by trial and error, but there also a few challenges in between and a great difficulty curve and introduction of new mechanics. Excellent work.

Developer

Thank you so much! We managed to make 58 levels by the end, and boy was it a grind! Lol, we probably could have sped up the progression a little bit, but were really happy with what we we accomplished! Thanks for giving it a play!

Very polished game.

Would be not surprised seeing it outside gamejam. And don't forget good puzzles with a nice learning curve. Good job!!

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeah we're really happy with the way it came out. We'll definitely be working on updating it after the jam!

very good game, very nice graphics, good mechanics, a very good package overall

Developer

Thank you for paying it!

Very good game. Begs the question, "is there such a thing as too many levels for a jam game"? lol

I think its great how fleshed out this is. The mechanics are pretty interesting, and the difficulty curve seems pretty good. I did get some feelings of "I just interact with all the elements in the room and they will eventually lead me to the door, it's too simple", but some rooms DO make you think a little harder about how each of those elements interact, and that's where this game really shines.

Everything looks very good, the music is nice, and the sounds are decent, but some are also a little "grating" for me.

Great job overall!

Thank you! We definitely spent a little too much development time on early level designs, and ran out of time for harder levels. Once the jam is over we're probably gonna clean up the progression a little bit. Thanks for all the great feedback!

Very easy to pick up and play! The art is beautiful and cohesive, and you managed to make many interesting levels with the gravity mechanic for such a tight space for gameplay. Very fun game!

Developer

Thank you very much! Fitting levels on screen was one of the hardest parts. Thanks for playing!

Cool concept, and the art was great.

Some of the puzzles were a bit basic and didn't require any thinking.
Gravity was also weirdly strong. Not really an issue but looked a bit strange.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah we maybe spent a bit too much time on the 'teaching' portion of the game. As for the gravity, the player only moves every other frame (to make movement not overly fast at the resolution), but the gravity happens at the normal frame rate, so I would guess that's why it feels fast. In any case, thanks for playing!

Really good and longer than other games in this jam! The idea is interesting, the music is good, the game mechanics are excellent... I have nothing to recommend to you, there's actually nothing to improve.

Developer

Thank you for playing! We're glad you enjoyed our game!

Very polished game. Everything is smooth and i like the progression.
Wow thats a lot of levels. I wasn't even able to beat the game. Maybe you could add level passwords so you can start from where you left the day before.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, there's just under 60 levels so it can take some time to play through! There is a 'continue' option that lets you revisit any of the levels you've played, give it a go if you want to pick up where you left off!

There's such a wide variety of mechanics here, all introduced in a manner that I can tell took a lot of thought, and mixed in very interesting ways. Some of the puzzles didn't require a lot of thought but a good chunk of them did, especially later game. They were fun to tinker with too, none of them felt long enough that redoing small pieces of them was annoying. The graphics were very charming and the main character's design was fun. I liked all the tiles. The sound effects were very fitting and the music was also good, although the game was long enough that I started to actively notice how there was only one song (which is not a bad problem to have at all within the context of a gamejam)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking it out! We would definitely like to refine some of our levels post jam, and well probably write a couple more songs for good measure :). I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Congratulations on making this game ! I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :

The live is timestamped so you can go directly to your game.

I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !

Developer(+1)

Hey, thanks so much for doing that. It's always helpful to see someone play your game! We definitely spent a little too much time with 'teaching puzzles', which made the first half of our game a little bit slow. We'll probably do a little bit of refinement post jam to clean up the difficulty ramp. Thanks for giving it a shot!

My pleasure ! Happy to help.

Heey, it is so simple but hypnotising. Music helps a lot  with atmosphere. Cool game!

Developer

Thanks so much! I'm glad the music resonates with the game!

The resolution limit fits this game like a glove; the puzzles are sized just right, which makes the game feel welcoming. Great presentation and audio as well!

Developer

Thank you for playing! We are glad to see people enjoying our game!

I'm a big fan of the game's concept for puzzles and the variety of levels does an excellent job of fleshing it out. I could play a full game based on this. The game's presentation is also appealing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! There were some ideas we wanted to explore further during the jam, but we ran out of time. We plan on fleshing it out a bit further with a post jam version. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Top marks! Very enjoyable puzzle gameplay, good graphics, music, atmosphere. It reminded me in a good way of The Bridge.

Wow, very nice looking game! The color palette is warm, but calming, I love it. I don't know how you managed to squeeze in so many levels in such a short time, incredible!
