The idea for this game is pretty cool, but there were a couple things holding it back, I think.

Most obviously the game is geared towards smartphones, which is pretty cool, but there seems to be little consideration for desktop use, which is fine if the game was only available for mobile devices, but as someone trying to play it on a desktop browser, the only controls there are I’m told to explicitly not use. There really shouldn’t be anything preventing you from adding keyboard equivalent controls to the rotate left and right buttons. This is especially an issue, I think, given that one of your mechanics requires me to flip the room around as the ball is falling. That’s very hard to do with a mouse, even given the delay and relatively slow speed of the ball’s fall.

The other issue I encountered was that, in the levels with multiple malware, I seemed to “break” them simply by falling passed them instead of landing on them. Also, the level ended and sent me to the next level even with one or two malware still remaining.

Like I said, over all, the idea of this game looks enjoyable, but there were a lot of issues making the game difficult to control and follow along with.

First of all, thank you for playing my game and i glad you enjoyed it !

Yes, this game has many bugs that i just disovered because i havent test it properly. I will fix this all into an update when the jam ended. And thanks again about suggesting the control idea, i will include the support for keyboard control on the next update too !

Anyways, the stream is yesterday right ? Im so sorry i didnt watch it because at wednesday, gonvernment inviting me to launch my game on thursday that was the winner of Indonesia Tax Education Game-Making competition few month ago. I was really exited until i forgot that you will be streaming my jam game, im so sorry.

Cool concept, similar to a few other games at this jam. Reminded me a little of a mobile game, in a good way. I missed a way to mute / turn down the volume as the soundtrack was very aggressive. Nevertheless, a cool little game, well done ! :-)

Developer

Thanks for playing, maybe i should change the music or at least lowering the music volume. Thanks for your feedback too !

Very nice concept and game! Loved how you even implemented a small story!

Developer

Thank you !

+ Nice idea
+ Fun to play

- The known bugs were a bit irritating (especially on the last level)
- Using the mouse to control rotation was rather hard, especially on the levels that needed perfect timing! I would suggest mapping left/right arrows to the rotation
- I think that you could have used more interesting assets
- No sound effects

Overall a fun concept that could be made better post-jam. I think that you could easily extend it with more levels and maybe introduce some new mechanics, like moving malware for example.

Thanks for the review and suggestions !

I will put all those idea and fix all the bugs after the jam ^-^

Nice little twist for having to fall on things to break theme, just not rotate to dodge things, but use it to break things.

I would prefer the control to be the right/left arrow (or a/d - q/d, because having to go fast between right and left to have the right timing with the mouse doesn't feel great for me :/. It needs obviously a bit more work but it gets the job done and is in the theme :).

The music is way out of the game for me :(. I had to only break one too and it continued. But well, we all know how hard to test things in jam + making content, so congrats!

Developer

hi ! Sorry i didn't notice your comment, also thanks for your feedback, i will gladly put those all on next update soon !

The rotation was good, but the text kept skipping or repeating, which made the tutorial unreadable. Also, whenever you spawn back in, it is hard to tell if the level is new or the same but rotated, which becomes extremely confusing when combined. I hope you improve on it, because it has the capacity to be a great game.

(By the way, kudos to you for managing to submit your game 1 MINUTE before the deadline!)

Developer

Thanks, and about the bug, yes i just realized after i submitted for the game jam so that's why i only can fix it after the jam ended. I also already listed some known bugs on my game on the game description section

Submitted

Very simple game but is very fun to speedrun. In the final game it would be nice to have a timer of some sort and puzzle mechanics (within scope)

Developer

thanks for your suggestion, yes i will put more puzzle and that timer idea sounds great !

Submitted

I like how responsive it is so the timing things actually work nicely.

It is a bit borked, though, it seemed to crash/freeze randomly.

Developer

Glad you were liked it, about the bugs i will fix that after the jam ended

Submitted

I was either lucky, or just didn't find it that buggy. It was still a fun game, good job

Developer

thank you !

Submitted

a fun concept but very buggy, i assume that you have to break all of the balls but i only have to break one.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you and sorry for the bug, i will fix that soon. I already added Known Bugs list on the game description. But AFAIK the bug is only have to break two not one like you said.

Are you sure you just need to break one ? If yes, then its a new bug

Submitted

yea i would only touch one and break it.

Developer

ah okay, thanks for telling me
