  • This game is incredibly chaotic - which is both a lot of fun and also sometimes a bit frustrating. There isn't really any player onboarding, so the start of the game in particular is quite frustrating! The enemies do so much knockback, most of the start of the game is spent flying through the air unable to really do anything 🫠 The controls also aren't well suited to this style of gameplay, I think you'd have done much better to use standard twinstick controls! It did feel really good to nail the enemies with a fully charged shot, though 😁 chaos can be a ton of fun, you just need less of it for new players!

I think the robots move way too fast and this probably would have worked better if you could aim with the mouse. I felt like I was getting chased down by robots which were way faster than me and by the time I turned around to aim at them, they were already touching me.

This seems like it would be fun when competing with others especially if the robots target players other than you but alone it feels unfair.

The game also had some performance issues, stuttering periodically which made it difficult to keep track of the robots.

the game is saldy single stick aiming only because of coding complications, performance issues might be related to the browser and computer performance, the robots are meant to be fast, you can escape them shooting downwardswhile youre midair to do some sort of rocket jump, you can do this infinitely just so you can wait till the bots fall off themselves so things calm down first.

A really chaotic game.
Once I get hit by those really fast small robots, I couldn't do anything else.
Maybe I need a bit more practice.
Other wise it was fun to play and looks really cool.

One of the games whose progress I was seeing on discord, It is nice to see the final game
The aiming was quite difficult ngl, before I can try to aim and shoot I get hit by the robot and the screen shakes so much that I completely get thrown off the aim :/ Any particular reason for movement based aiming instead of mouse look based? The UI is well polished :D at one point i stood facing the spawn and spammed shooting cause that was the easiet to do xD GGs man!

3rd person mouse aiming is a bit complicated in godot, i should probly just make the player always aim fully downward but even then it might become too easy, the struggle is to find ways to actually position yourself and shoot. I have managed to add a bullet time trigger mechanic tho for evasion and repositioning , keep an eye out for that update soon!

O jogo é muito divertido no geral, bem polido e visualmente bonito, é um pouco difícil acertar os tiros, meio que cansa minha mão (sou canhoto), não achei muito desafiador, mas isso não é um ponto negativo para a proposta do jogo. Muito bom trabalho. Se você pudesse deixar um comentário sobre a minha entrada, eu ficaria muito grato.

This game felt really polished in a lot of ways - the starting screen, the animations for transitions between views, the juice/weight when you hit enemies, there's a lot I really enjoyed about it!

One part of the gameplay really got in the way of having more fun for me:

  • The way that enemies bump you around felt quite frustrating. It didn't seem like there was much counter-play because some enemies seemed to be just as fast as the player, so there wasn't time to run away, turn around, and then shoot. Because of this, it seemed unavoidable to get thrashed around by enemies. A dash mechanic or some way to outplay the enemies would go a long way I think.

If you implemented a way to outplay enemies, and then made enemies spawn faster the higher your combo gets so that playing well gets rewarded, I could see this game being really really fun.

Nice work on the feel and polish.

hmmmmm okay, i think ill try to add a mechanic about double tapping direction to dash, also yes there was no enemy progression, originally if you kill and enemy from a spawner, that one spawner will slowly gets faster, but yh im adding these, keep an eye out for an update!

What a delightful mess. Very bright, colourful. The PS1 look is cool, takes me back. Gameplay is a bit weird and you get thrown around a lot as the enemies are fast and aggressive. Playing on keyboard is a bit clunky, I would suggest letting player keybind. The presentation is lovely. Like the menus especially. The charge mechanic is a good idea. Multiplier too. Sound is great!

At the end of the game there is no leaderboard to see or a way to go back to main menu. Had to restart the game to see the scores.

But all around I enjoyed it.

I really like the style and how the game looks.  for me ,the gameplay wasn't bad but i didn't enjoy it that much. i like the idea that enemies push you into the water but  they are just making me fly and waste time , and i think it was a little annoying. i noticed you added a multiplier but it's little hard to get a more than 3x multiplier cause enemies are fast and it's hard for me to wait for some to spawn and aim for them fast enough.

but overall, i like the game
