The game is very simple with good ideas like the usable powers, the juice is also present it's very pleasant to kill the enemies, unfortunately it lacks stakes that makes the player want to try again because it goes around the game very quickly
I obliterated the highscore getting 52,400 with 2nd place at 14,900 lol.
I understand why others scored much less though, the game was way too easy to the point of it getting boring very quick.
The main issue is that the difficulty curve is either too flat or it doesn’t exist. I didn’t notice it getting more difficult throughout my entire playthrough and I lost because I decided to just walk into an enemy intentionally.
Another issue is that the powerups feel totally pointless. They last for such a short amount of time which makes them useless with the enemy density as it is. Enemies don’t spawn frequently enough for the game to really pose a challenge so powerups aren’t needed.
The only time I got close to getting killed through normal gameplay was when I was walking upwards at full speed. Why? because the UI covers enemies coming from the top and you have to react quickly to avoid one coming out from under the UI.
I liked the concept of the game and the shooting and moving felt pretty good, even if simplistic. Increase the difficulty curve, rework the UI or make it transparent, soften the SFX as others have pointed out, and rethink how powerups work and you could turn this into a very fun score chaser.
Fun game, I like shooting the moving objects and I like the splash effects from when the bullets hit something. The diagonal shooting is too hard in my opinion and I would love to have the special abilities more often. It could also ramp up in difficulty quicker. Good job with the art, well done!
A nice little game. I like the variety of special abilities. Collecting coins can be annoying sometimes. The sounds kinda hurt my ears since i was playing in my headphones though, and the style is not very consistent

Solid entry. Plays decently. I didn't understand some of the mechanics inherently, but shooting enemies was pretty satisfying. I'd tone down some of the SFX, and maybe have an option to toggle only 4 directional firing instead of 8. Good work on getting this completed.
The power ups were the best part of the game.
The game was cleanly executed and the bullet effects were nice.

I liked the desolate and spooky atmosphere.
I think the gameplay was a bit too easy, I could see myself playing it more if it was a bit more challenging.
Also the player seemed too small compared to the enemies and environment.
I also would have liked if I got extra points for hitting multiple enemies.

Nice work , this kind of graphism will always match the arcade style game ! Hope you will add some music in game so it will bring more tension during the game !

Something about the artwork feels very nice, I really liked the 1-bit-like artwork! The game is simple & complete! I like little details how when the enemy is close then you 'shotgun' bullet but otherwise its just normal bullets! ( I may have interpreted it wrong, but thats what it looked like to me) - I did get a score of 1800 so I am on the last spot leaderboard on first try 😎Satisfying juice & polish too!

well, about the bullet . it does the shotgun effect when it hits anything far or close. i did it by accident but i liked it specially with the particles

Nice game! The art and sound is especially nice, as is having two types of enemies with different behavior. I liked the tutorial text written on the ground. My only complaint is that the UI positioning makes it difficult to spot enemies coming from the top, especially if I'm moving upwards.
