tysm man! ahh that is something that i need to make players aware of 🤔
yeah the game balance is heavy on the easier side so scores are much higher than i expected them to be haha
yep definitely room for upgrades & more progression!
Thank you for the detailed feedback! I agree with you, there is alot scope for progression as you mentioned & the difficulty currently is too easy as well. I'll have a look at the game.
Oh, that's just for the first time as I want the players to know the lore. On your second playthrough both of those screens are not shown unless toggled on by you from the main menu (a story button appears after your first playthrough)
Again, thank you so much for playing & the feedback! Glad you liked it :D
Thank you so much for playing!! Yes, as is the story of game jams, time was short so couldn't add more stuff to it. But definitely areas to add/improve.
ooo I had not thought of the leaderboard like that, I in general wanted competitiveness among the players so added it but yes that works very well too tysm for bring that up!
Super polished, A proven core mechanic too as its a very good you create your own obstacles loop. I like the direction you've taken with this, instead of having different levels, making it a single loop & simple scoring system which is perfect for a game like this. I slightly wish the story was more deeper as it feels like left out potential but maybe that's just me 😅
This game is really giving 'Plague Inc's' but 'Conspiracy Inc.' and I loved that game, the number of upgrades that you've implemented within a game jam's time frame. Bravo! I really like this conspiracy there are pieces of history which are not true & fabricated which can be even true you never know. Great jam entry!
As others have mentioned that it does take a bit of time to reach the ending, the animations are top tier, i did not expect to see custom animations so i was taken back! The ship does feel slightly rigid? if that makes sense, like having it wobble more would add to the experience but that can be just me haha.
Also congratulations on your first game jam entry! It's a well made game with a proven core mechanic! Job well done bro :D
Neat little concept, there's another game with a similar concept but the shooting platformers takes it into a different direction. I had trouble with x being the shoot button as opposed to LMB but i got used to that while using the arrow keys as opposed to A/D. Super Polished & the really dig the monotone art style. The take on the theme is also interesting as the general conspiracy is that pigeons are not real but robots but this is like reverse conspiracy haha
Fun concept, I do wish the hitbox for the banana throwing was bigger/faster because i wanted to get in a flow of 'throwing' the banana but I couldn't. It is very unforgiving (for me atleast) so having checkpoints would help alot, I wonder if no checkpoints was intentional. 🤔 Any game that takes place in a room setting with us being a small object always gives me toy stories vibes haha
Welp, it's a yollie's game, we're all cooked 😔 lol jokes aside, this really shows the power of juice in a game. Literally. One might look at it and say yeah it has great polish & simple but under the hood it does so many things to make it look simple & effortless. And what can I even say about the VFX, yollie you wizard. Love the artstyle too. Great great fun and you lose time when you catch the rhythm. I do wish the UI was less 3D red blue as that was hard on my eyes but maybe that's just me. The batman arkham games style combat is nicely captured (which is a great choice of combat) but there are moments where it breaks the flow as there might be a cooldown possibly? Overall, great jam entry!
Love the UI, Great work by Erick! 👏👏 ACHIEVEMENTS?? damn that took me by surprise and is impressive for a game jam entry! It took me a bit to get used to finding the rhythm but that's probably just me haha. Complete game but The one thing that I would say needs work is the look of the game, it can be greatly improved by using any free toon shader from the asset store, I would suggest to give it a shot, other than that, nice idea to keep the egg alive as it provides more depth and strategical angle to the gameplay!
Okay, I went into this game thinking it might be another run around & shoot game, but the fact that you have one bullet only and you have to basically train the enemies for as long as possible without dying or mentally losing patience completely transforms the game itself. GREAT and I mean GREAT game design on that, by basically 'cutting out' that part of run & shoot you add much more to the game. The waiting to train is hard on the patience of the player some way to remove that bit would go a long way! I think there is a bug where I did train for quite a bit but then I held & shot instantly and the ray did not detect all of the 30+ enemies but maybe 15. Great jam entry :D
