It was good, i like the old game boy aesthetic and sound effects, i will like to have a mini map or signs to orient yourself in the labyrinth and i found a bug that made the character turn up and stop moving for a few seconds when i tried to move and attack at the same time

This was nice! I just have some recommendations to make the game better:
-The labyrinth could have some landmarks, like an area with a statue, another with corpses, different wall colors etc... this could help with locating oneself inside the labyrinth, since sometimes it gets too confusing which leads to some frustration.
-The minotaur appears very rarely, and when he does he does not seem like a treath, I recommend making him periodically chase the player and after a while he stops the chase and starts randomly patrolling the area, this could keep him appearing sometimes, but not too much to the point of being repetitive.
-I did not see much of a need for the sword and club apart from the endgame, maybe there could be things you could attack or break on the normal levels, although having the minotaur actually chase you could justify their use.
-Some music could be nice.
And that's all I could think of, with some polish it could be quite fun, and it working on actual hardware is really awesome, congrats!
First thing I did after trying the game: check if anyone defeats the maze. Jesus is SO COMPLICATE IT!
I really like how you had been loyal to your "GB original idea", and how you had carried over. I missed some sounds (like when you attack) but, overall, really polish for a GameJam.
Good job!
Now I know I never want to be stuck in a maze! Seriously though, the art is lovely, the levels each have a different feel. As others have said, the core gameplay feels a bit lacking. I could imagine if you had a timer, had to run away from something, or just simply had to do more, the game would feel more rewarding. Still a very good entry!
I liked the pixel art in this one. The gameplay was simple but worked well. I wish there were more monsters and things to do in the game. Seemed like I was wandering around a little too much. Still, this game was one of the better ones I have played for this jam. Good job.
Incredible pixel artwork. Very true to the GB. The font on the title screen could be more original though. And the game would benefit tremendously with the addition of music & sound. I'd love to see you enter Retrograde jam.
I really loved it. The graphics: both sprites and tiles are beautiful. I made it to the Minotaur but died but being an actual Gameboy game I am going to put the ROM on a handheld emulator I have to play more of this game. Fantastic job!
This game certainly looks like a gameboy game, the maze scrolls nicely and some of the sound effects sound appropriately retro. Unfortunately I think I'd starve to death in this maze because for the life of me I couldn't figure the way to the second level. I did rescue all the Athenians on the first level but eventually I just had to call it quits. The slow movement speed doesn't particularly help with this aspect either.
But congrats on submitting for your first game jam btw! The first one is always a great learning experience. Nice work.
Thank you for the wonderful comments! Being my first game jam, I thought I'd try out some new tools to help streamline what I would end up making an assembly nightmare. GB Studio was one of them, and the movement was something I couldn't fine tune as much as I would have liked; the browser emulator (sometimes) runs too fast and real hardware is painfully slow!
P.S. Next time I'll leave some food lying around ;)
Nice implementation of the maze and scrolling. Would be nice to know what control keys to use. I worked out WASD to move. Return key appears to restart the game. Could do with some variety, maybe some traps or wandering monsters.
