Screen shake baybeeeee. This is a fun juicy game.

I think mirroring some other comments - some  gamepad or mouse to aim controls would be really nice. I think people go back and forth on preference for move to shoot vs mouse aim to shoot, but I really would love to try this with mouse aim (or other joystick).

I think you mentioned you unexpectedly hit the deadline on this one - do you have plans to put in some of the things you wanted to add? Because I'd totally play it!

Glad you liked the action!

Instead of going back on jam projects, I like to just take what I've learned / made and clean it up for more general use. BUT, I like to make run 'n guns once a year, last March DSOP Jam I made this. So I bet next years will be better!

Very nice gamefeel, appreciate the randomness of each run!

Nice action game, I did one too :) I just regret we can't play with a gamepad , my keyboard is azerty, it is a bit tedious to play like that , but you're games seems fun anyway .

Amazing game.

It is like a Mario Speedrun but with a gun.

The random blackholes add even more unpredictability to the game. You never know where a jump or step forward is going to take you. Even through the screen shaking of my carnage I felt I had tons of control and could quickly make a decision on how I wanted to proceed through the next area. Dashing through enemies, hoping on them, going along speedways, jumping over spike pits, and popping out of the black holes all felt very natural and fluid.

The parts with the spikes did make me slow down so that I wouldn't die or lose a lot of my health.

These features have the potential to really go places.

Also Shotgun best weapon.

Whew, I've never been super good at bullet hell games! This was a fun idea, and I loved all the different enemy types and animations! The portals were also a really neat touch that provided some variety to gameplay!
