Ooof. This game is good. Tooo good. We are not worthy!!

Every little thing is just so sharp and crisply done. Little touches, from the fan art, to the story and meta references, to the puzzles, to the hilarious modification of the classic title screen - everything is just so wildy imaginative and rewarding to those of us who know RPGM.

The only thing I might suggest is making the final battle a little shorter than 10 turns. 10 is perfect for one play through, but four times makes it a bit more of a grind.

Overall, it is an honor to have your talent submitted to this game jam! I can't wait to see what you have in store next.

Developer

Thanks! Good point with the 10 turn limit. Or can even make escape from battle as a viable condition for those who wants to collect all the Harolds. Thanks for hosting the jam, had a lot of fun making this silly game!

This game is brilliant! I had so much fun with it that I had to replay it and get all 4 Harolds. I especially liked the glitch effect in the blue bugfix map, and the clever uses of the error report and loading screens as part of the action sequences. My only (minor) complaint is that you have to interact with the bugfix to collect it after you open the chest - why not collect it automatically?

Again, this game was a blast! I hope to create a game that is on this level of quality some day.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, that was one thing I was considering to change at one point. A bit of a toss up between having the orb hang around a bit longer like the sword before picking it up... but then I just didn't bother with it for the yellow chests haha :P

Awesome! Very high quality.

Thanks!

This game gets my respect for being one that fully immersed me into the experience. Thank you for making this. Not sure if you're the artist behind it. But I am impressed with it. Seriously. Well done.

Thanks! Glad you like my silly Harold fan art :P

Hot damn, this game was awesome! It really captured the spirit of the jam perfectly.  The puzzles were interesting and the ending got me feeling some emotions. Great job!

Developer

Thanks! Although I do think it could be improved by giving Harold a bit more character (rather than being stuck in a tank!) So many cool Harold stories in the other entries!

Just plain cool.

I loved the Debug Goggles and the glitch map! Skillnames were lolz too.

The animations, the Harold boss graphic, and the ending sequence show high skill.

Great job on this!

If your game doesn't win, idk what people are thinking. Your game was awesome!! The end was super classic.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Was a fun project to make a bunch a Harold fan art ;)

Harold: Harold feels like he is dead in this game, giving the spotlight to his 3 other companions.

Fun: I liked the clever puzzles and hidden secrets you would find if you looked hard enough. I like putting hidden things in game, that way you find things where you wouldn't expect.

Creativity: I like the custom art especially the title picture and the final boss. Although the arms are bit too short on the title picture.

Overall, I like the game and the nice selection of music at the end of the game hit me  because I have been using this engine for a year and 8 months so I have grown fond of MV.

Thanks for the feedback and trying out this silly game!

Fixed a few minor things after having my friend test it out.

Ok, should have fixed the "missing" Horror sound issue - the character "é" in the filename must be causing some issues for some people.
